Aditya our guide was very knowledgable and took us to places we would never have found on our own. We were shown how certain things enhance or repress the taste of others, and got to sample a wide range of local food. I was travelling alone but there was another couple on the tour, and he told us he also handles large numbers where earpieces are provided. The hotel pick-up and drop-off were welcome as I had pre-arranged transport to the airport late in the afternoon and was conscious of getting back there. Michael, Australia.

We loved our good tour with Aditya. His knowledge of Indian food and flavours, and how the tastes of these are absorbed was amazing! He looked after us in the busy streets of Old Delhi really well teaching us how to cross the streets. He took us to hidden treasures in Delhi to sample traditional foods that we enjoyed immensely. The rickshaw rides both bicycle and scooter were great fun. Thank you!

One of the best tours I've ever had and I've traveled to 30 countries. My guide, Ashwini, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, spoke excellent English, and made it an enjoyable experience. I tasted local foods I wouldn't have known about otherwise. Highly recommend.

Rajeev Goyal was tremendous in taking us to niche places in Old Delhi that have been serving the same food for over a hundred years! It was great to tap into his vast knowledge of Indian spices (he trains chefs) and experience food tastings (akin to wine tastings), where the first/second/third bites leave distinct impressions! Don't miss this!

We had an amazing food tour experience with our tour guide Shikha! We started with an not to early pickup from our hotel near the airport to old Delhi. The car was nice and clean and comfortable, but our driver did not speak any english. It was raining like crazy but let up as the day went on. In any case, instead of walk the tour got us Tut Tuts to ride in from location to location, which was amazing! The food was outstanding with a few exceptions that didn't meet everyones taste : but the tour was great. Lots of insight into the food culture and opportunities to buy spices and other items. You really do have to pace yourself as this is a LOT of food, but was it all so good! The last stop was by far the best and was worthy putting at the end. We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour!

I went on a tour with Shikha and her colleague around Delhi in August 2018 and had a great time. I sampled a lot of delicious Indian food and learnt a lot about flavours and spices. Shikha was a great guide - she spoke excellent English, was organised, kind, considerate of people's dietary requirements and spice tolerances and relayed a lot of information about Indian cuisine. Shikha even kindly sent me a list of the food items eaten during the tour for my information and a list of recommended restaurants for my onward travel. I would really recommend this food tour of Delhi. I would advise guests to ensure they start the tour on an empty stomach and only eat small amounts of the delicious food provided at the start otherwise they will become too full too quickly. Thank you Shikha for a great day!

Loved this tour. Our guide Shikha Gupta was brilliant. Knowledgeable about the ingredients of each dish, its history and what best accompanied it. The food outlets we visited were very varied and all tasty. We travelled around Old Delhi on foot, by bicycle rickshaw and tuk tuk. Highly recommended.

The very best way to really experience Old Delhi. Led by a first rate chef, with tons of local knowledge, you are taken places you would not go on your own, and taste food you otherwise wouldn't try to your loss.

The hosts a husband and wife team are lovely and are passionate about their business and want their clients to enjoy this experience. Their organisation and communication is excellent and they are extremely accommodating. We were collected from, and returned to, our hotel timeously. We sampled a large variety of foods, sweet and savoury and every one of them was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour as and introduction to Delhi.

This is a fantastic tour for anyone who wants to learn more about the food and culture of Delhi. The trip was in and around Chandi Chowk market, which is a maze of allys and backstreets. We tried lots of different dishes and discovered places that we would otherwise never have know existed, or have tried without our guide. Our guide was very knowledgable and was able to help us make the best of the tour, making us feel very safe. If you dont do any other trip in Delhi do this one!

The Dehli Food Tour with Chef Rajeev Goyal was an amazing and exceptional experience. He is a very friendly person and experienced foodie and chef who adapts the tour to your wishes and interests. I would have never found nor dared to enter some of the shops and places. At every station he highlighted a special feature or teqnique, ingredient or spice which makes this location special. My personal hightlight was the kulcha bread near the Sikh tempel. Would highly recommend the tour.

This was the best tour in Delhi. I would gladly give 10 stars! Shikha Gupta was an excellent guide. This was mine and my husbands first trip to Delhi and we wouldnt be able to enjoy food and scenes of Delhi without Shikha. She was not only very knowledgeable about all kind of food but also about Indian traditions, cultures, and religions. She was personable, helpful, and making sure that all of us had a great time. I would never be able to navigate Old Delhi without her guidance. Big, big kudos to Shikha! I recommend this to anyone. Excellent!!! Thank you Shikha. Hope to see you in Seattle. This was a fantastic experience of real Indian street food made by local families that I would never have found on my own. So many different delicious savoury and sweet foods to try - guide was helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble.

I loved this tour! Loved it, loved it, loved it! We took this tour in November 2016 and I still keep talking about it September 2017. Our tour guide, Jaidev, was great!

Great time in both Old Delhi and New Delhi. While the food was definitely the highlight of this trip, my guide was excellent company and the people-watching was off the charts. Give it a shot - you won't regret. Guide took extreme care to make sure that what were eating was safe and that I didn't have any food allergies.

If you love food and want to see the city this is a great tour. This wasn't just your standard tasting tour, our guide was knowledgable about the history of the food as well as the reasons certain spices go together and how they form the complexities of taste. She was also very knowledgable about the city and its history. I've traveled to over 100 countries and this is one of the best tours I've taken. If you love food and want to see the sights, I can't recommend this tour highly enough.

We have taken many food tours around the world, and Jaidev provides the perfect example of why we think it's the best way to see a new city. Jaidev is the best host - knowledgeable and friendly, and an expert food critic. We felt safe and hygienic while stil experiencing the best of Delhi cuisine.

This part of New Delhi is not often seen by people on a work visit, however taking a day to visit Old Delhi by foot one bite at a time was a wonderful experience. I was lucky to go solo as it was a mid-week tour. Jaidev, my guide took the time to explain not only the history of each stop but also the ingredients of each plate... He did warn me to simply taste and not finish every serving as there were many more stops ahead. It was very hard to taste and go... Each and every stop had its uniqueness, flavors and history. To know a country and its culture, once must taste their food and this was no exception. Expect to eat what the locals eat. You will not find India Express or India Hotel food here... I will come back and I will do this tour again. THANK YOU Jaidev!

I had an awesome customized personal tour with Shikha who was able to take me to 13 different spots all over old delhi, bengali market, connaught place and other places that I would have never known to go. We walked, took a motorcycle rickshaw, cycle rickshaw.. and she really takes care of you while giving you really detailed account of all the foods and history that influenced these foods. You wont regret it, just let her know what you want and she will make it happen. I asked for 'fire pan' that someone on the plane told me about and she took me to get it!

This tour was a fantastic way of getting an introduction to Delhi. We were picked up by a driver and met Jaidev, our guide. We sopped by at least 10 different places and tried a variety of exceptionally delicious street foods that we would not have known to try on our own. He took us to the back of shops, street corners, alleys and was very informative about background of foods we tried, families that run the stops as well as cultural significance. Our favorites were the kulfi ice creams, the awesome fried potatoes sprinkled with spices and a vegan fruit and nut sandwich. Everything is delicious. The other great part about the experience: The guide makes sure to only take visiotirs to places that practice good hygiene. We are three days out from the tour and have had no GI issues. Highly recommend!

I very much enjoyed this tour with Raj in Delhi. I was picked up from my hotel and taken into Old Delhi where the group met and we were instantly taken for a taster of a local breakfast. Thereafter, we tried many dishes throughout Old Delhi, we went to a Sikh temple be sure to take a head scarf if you don't want to borrow one, and then tried some dishes before the final meal in new Delhi which was wonderful. This trip was certainly a highlight of my India trip! My advice to anyone taking this tour is to try everything! It may seem odd but you will likely surprise yourself and enjoy it.
