This was a good way to start our time in Florence. There is a lot of different areas to see and the bus tour gives you good overview. The bus was on schedule most of the time and it was nice to be able to track the bus location with the phone app. The bus staff is very friendly!

Definitely worth doing this, it allows you to get your bearings, see the city in one go and then decide where you want to spend more time. For any of the popular attractions make sure you pre book tickets otherwise be prepared for a long wait, although l suppose will depend on time of year you are travelling. For cheaper restaurants go over to the other side of the river away from the main thoroughfares. I would also recommend Fiesole, there is a Roman amphitheatre there if you like that sort of thing and the view of Florence when you travel up the mountain side road is amazing! Be sat on the right hand side of the bus going up to see it at its best.

The on off bus is always a good idea. It gives you the best way to have a look at everything a destination has to offer

Fantastic overview of the outer city city. Lots of information as you begin to explore the no car zone

The hop-on/hop-off buses are the best! I love being able to see the city and get my bearings when I arrive! Easy and great to hear the history as you travel around. This was my second time taking this tour bus in Florence. I love the ease of traveling out to Fiesole (which you can't skip!) and then up to Piazzale Michelangelo to see the most breath-taking view of Florence!

We had courteous staff watching out for us, answering questions, and always with a smile. Great sights at hop off and on. Convenient as well.

This bus trip was absolutely brilliant for both me and my teenagers. It's such a great way to see the city and the views looking down on it especially from Michelangelo stop are stunning. The commentary is very interesting and there are so many great things to see. The longer route (2 hours) was fantastic and great value for money. The guides were lovely and so helpful and knowledgeable. It's an absolute must I'd say.

2 different routes are offered (you can go on both) one stays closer to the inner city and the other takes you to the outskirts of town. I went on both and loved all the different views and additional sights I got to see.

We always do the hop-on hop-off (HOHO) in every city we visit. It's the best way to see all of the highlights and then you can decide where you want to get off an explore more.

Hop on off bus is absolutely the best value for your dollar, you get to see everything in a day then spend additional time wherever you are most interested.

Easy to access the bus from the main stop just outside the train station and used both routes over two days to all the good spots

This is a great way to see Florence and it’s surroundings. You can stay on the bus for the full tour then get off the stops you wish after seeing the city. It gives a good overlook where everything is located

Great way to see and get around the City. Never had to wait long for a bus and the bus wasn't crowded.

We made good use of our pass and enjoyed every minute of the experience - the best way to get around, fabulous scenery and with a bit of luck you can get the front seat and take wonderful photos - always upstairs whenever possible.

excellent! best way to travel with kids--gives everyone an opportunity to relax and learn about the sites along the way.
• Submitted 11 Jul 2018
This was actually surprisingly nice. Also, our bus ticket lasted for 72 hours I think as oppose to the 48 we paid for. We only used it the one day, but it was a nice way to see the city and Piazzale Michelangelo.

Great way to orientate yourself with the city. Line B takes you up into the hill which we never would have seen if we had not have purchased the ticket. To do it all I would suggest the 48 hour ticket if you have time as the city is vaste and time consuming to get around enjoyable though.

We loved this tour and especially the time we spent at Fiesole where we stopped and had lunch. A must do!

Friendly staff and nice route

Great way to get to know the area before deciding which stop you want to get off to see the sights up close.

A great way to get your bearings in a new city.

Wish I had had more time to ride the bus. Since Florence has a very small historical center, it is easy not to get out of this area. But the hop-on/ hop-off tour gives you a great way to see the outskirts of this amazing city. In addition, it goes to Fiesole which gives you a great view of the Tuscan giant, Florence.

Since we know we would only be in Florence for a day and a half, the Hop-on Hop-Off bus gave us the best opportunity to see the city at large and learn a bit about the many fascinating aspects of this historical place. Our first stop was the Piazzale Michelagelo, which offers the most breathtaking view of the city! I could have stayed there for hours taking in the glory of this city! While up there, we walked to the Monastero di San Miniato e Palazzo dei Vescovi, before getting back on the bus for a gorgeous ride up to the small hamlet of Fiesole, high in the hills above Florence. I cannot recommend this bus tour highly enough for convenience and ease.

Whenever you travel to a major tourist destination you absolutely must get Hop-on Hop-off bus tickets. It is the best and only way to learn about the city in a comfortable setting and get around the place without the worry of finding parking spaces or getting lost. Get 48 hours or 72 hours - I use it everywhere I travel.
