I have wanted to see the interior of La Scala for as long as I can remember, museum was interesting and the interiors were impressive, The history of la Scala is so interesting. Day we went we had to hang around and extra hour to see the interiors as they had a lighting rehearsal that finished at 4 pm, this can be know to happen, it was worth the wait.

Brief but beautiful look into the La Scala, including a photo op of the grand theater interior. The museum is full of portraits, instruments, and handwritten music notation from some of the great composers.

Our tour began on time. It was in English, as scheduled. The guide apologized to other enthusiasts that the tour was ENGLISH. He was an affable person, well versed, and had many anecdotes about La Scala. Worth the money, and time.

My husband and I loved this tour. The tour guide met us right where she was supposed to front of the gift shop/museum...which was very comforting. She was very informative and interesting when she described the opera house. They were in rehearsals, so we couldn't see the opera house with the lights on....however there was enough light to see inside from the boxes she chose for us. The museum is filled with wonderful paintings and photographs and sculpture of the divas and composers that were prominent at the Opera House. I would definitely recommend this tour to all my friends and family.

Excellent informative tour. We didn't manage to see the full grandeur of the auditorium due to it being dimmed for lighting director rehearsal but this didn't really impact very interesting history of the opera house and it's place in Milanese life. Excellent guide
