Stop At: Duomo di Milano, Piazza del Duomo, 20122 Milan Italy

If your time in Milan is limited, or if you want an overview to guide your exploration, this one-day walking tour is the perfect introduction, taking in all the most prominent sights – including guaranteed entry to see Da Vinci’s ‘The Last Supper’.

Led by your local, English-speaking guide, you’ll visit some iconic sights and some on the path less travelled. You’ll get to skip the line at Milan Duomo and experience this world-famous cathedral without waiting – unlike the city itself, which waited nearly 600 years for the incredible building to be completed.

The tour will pause again so you can admire the medieval Sforza Castle, before delving into the cobbled streets of the Brera district. This is the beating heart of Milan’s social and cultural life, as your guide will explain. You’ll hear about all the famous artists and thinkers that have called Brera home, as well as some more up-to-date recommendations of places to revisit later for a drink or a meal.

Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes

Stop At: Il Cenacolo, Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie, 20123 Milan Italy

It all builds to a viewing of Leonardo Da Vinci’s phenomenal mural, ‘The Last Supper’. Often imitated, never bettered, this masterpiece is carefully preserved, and only one group is allowed to view it at a time. This can make tickets a challenge to acquire, but yours are included in this package, along with special Skip the Line Access – so you’re guaranteed your full 15 minutes with the fresco. Listen as your guide points out the details that earn ‘The Last Supper’ its place in the history books.

After just one day, you’ll find your relationship to Milan forever changed for the better.

Excellent and informative walking tour. The pace was quick, but not rushed. You cover a lot of ground, so wear good shoes for walking on cobblestones. Our guide Eli (pronounced Ellie) was a wealth of information at all the stops. She has obviously been guiding a long time. At The Last Supper, you are only allowed 15 minutes in front of the painting, but Eli preps you with good background so you know what to look for.

Wonderful walking tour taking in many of the sights of Milan. From the excellent storytelling of the history of Milan in the Duomo, to the La Scala Ballerina shot to the magnificence of the Last Supper, this is a day we will always remember. Thank you Marika for a truly captivating day and thank you for advising us to purchase tram tickets before the tour began so we could get back home easily at the end of it.

If you are lucky , you will have Eli as your guide, as she emits her passion for Milan in the tour, as well as being so very knowledgeable about the areas visited. Thank you Eli

Exceptional due to smart, knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide. Made the three hours fly by even on a rainy day.

Both me and my husband enjoyed the tour a lot... we learnt a lot from our guide Debbie, who lead us through the Duomo, Castle (MIlan Centro storico) and the Basilica Di Maria Delle Grazie for the Last Supper painting. Despite the rain Debbie remained composed and professional throughout, and she shared some much insights of the place, monuments, sculptures, art, etc things we would never know, or appreciate as tourists. Though the 4hr walk was completely exhausting, we highly recommend this to anyone who wants to know Milan, beyond it being one of the fashion capitals of the world, Highly recommended! In fact all Viator local land tours come highly recommended!

Excellent, fully knowledge guide ( Katarina Panayotova -- she asked that her name be known) made this tour informative and worthwhile. The Duomo was the primary focus of this tour, and with 3500 statues in the 4th largest cathedral in the world, there was a wealth of history and explanations that were needed to appreciate everything. The walk through the streets was made interesting by the guide's insight and first hand experience with (it seemed) every building and street. Naturally the Last Supper was a highlight, and we had plenty of time to learn and (yes!) take photographs.

This is a very enjoyable and educational tour of Milan highlighting the main points of interest. The tour guide - Ekaterina Panayotova - is very knowledgeable. She included details of the history of the City, interesting facts to note, references to places to see and go to based on ones interest. I learned so much about the Last Supper painting and got really impressed with the intricacies encoded in it. Note - the confirmation sent by Viator when I bought the tour online listed two different starting times - make sure you call to find out which one is correct.

You'll see all the best places in Milan in 3 hours. Most of us were staying for just 2 days, so it was perfect. The tour guide was very nice. You'll visit the Duomo, the famous Shopping area, Brera, la Scala, Cadorna station, Palazzo Sforza (where there is a 5' stop to go to the toilet) with a beautiful view, and then The Last Supper, that she explained very well. It's a 3 hours tour, more or less. The pace was ok, not fast, as I read from other reviewers. It's a very good option to learn a lot about Milan in a short time, explained by a local, who told us many things. I recommend it.

This tour was the highlight of my 10-day stay in Milan. Simon was absolutely wonderful as tour guide both in his knowledge as well as his enthusiasm of telling the history of everything we viewed.

This is a see it from the outside tour because we went on Sunday, we were unable to go inside the Duomo. A reduction in our fee was credited. They also offered a pass into the Duomo for Monday. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The visit to see the Last Supper Was so well explained. And it’s always a WOW! Our 2nd visit and I’d do it again.

We very much enjoyed our tour. Our tour guide, Katerina, was great. She was very knowledgeable and provided much insight and stories. The Duomo and Last Supper were particularly outstanding. I recommend this tour. You need to be able to do some walking, however.

Finding the company, the tour, and getting back were all easy to do. Some people thought the guide walked too fast, so if you don't think you can keep up - don't take this tour. It is faster than a stroll.

Our tour with tour guide Katerina Panayotova was amazing. She was so full of life and details. She really explained things inside the Cathedral so fully. She was very attentive to questions. She even showed us a picture she had on her phone of the crucifixion nail that is kept high above the alter. Continuing on she explained many things during our walk through Milan to the Last Supper. She was very conscious of the time so we would be there in plenty of time for our appointment, yet you did not feel that you were being rushed. At the Last Supper itself, she explained things before we walked into the room. Then in there she brought the painting to life explaining which apostle was where, what their hand gestures signified, etc. Once our 15 minutes with the painting was over, she spent more time in the outer room telling us even more about the history of the painting and how amazing it is that it has even survived at this point. This even extended the time past the 3 hours for the total tour. She was so knowledgeable and nice. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Milan, but be sure to book well in advance!!! Hopefully you will get Katerina too!

Our tour guide was informative, engaging, well-prepared, and knowledgeable. He provided many interesting insights. I would heartily recommend this tour and this guide.

Very nice guide, spoke English very well and kept a good pace. I had already done the Rick Steves walking tour (Duomo, Galeria, la Scala) yet she still provided new and interesting information not in his. This tour does not include the roof climb on the Duomo, recommend buying that separate as it's not to be missed.

Our tour guide was great! She was friendly, informative and very much aware of who her audience was as we walked and toured. There were five of us in a group of about 28. This is the third time I've scheduled tours through Viator and they've never disappointed.

This was an outstanding tour with clearly the pinnacle seeing the 'Last Supper'. Our tour guide Barbara was sensational. She conveyed an incredible amount of information and facts with a very entertaining style coupled with an excellent sense of humour. We highly recommend this tour and Barbara.

This is my second tour of the last supper and certainly the best. It is a walking tour but plenty of time to sit and rest. A break for refreshments in the middle. Barbara is very engaging and super knowledgeable. Learned so many new things! Must do!

This tour is a great introduction to Milan. The highlight is the Last Supper; the insight about this masterpiece was impressive.

The tour guide has excellent knowledge of Milan. She explained the details clearly. This was hot on that day but worth the money.

Great way to see some of the main city sights and learn some history. Our guide Susanna (hopefully spelled correctly!) was very nice and knowledgeable, strongly recommended!

This walking tour was the perfect way to see the major sights in historic Milan. Our guide, Elisa, was friendly, welcoming and very informative. She explained each sight and the history behind it. Although we toured the interior of the Duomo, we did not climb to any of the higher look-outs. We were thrilled to get in to see the "Last Supper" as we had many friends who could not get tickets during their visits. Overall it was great and we would highly recommend this tour!
