Myanmar Travel Advice for UK Travellers

We keep abreast of the latest travel guidance to Myanmar and follow advice as set out by the British Foreign Office. Safety of our travellers is paramount and we recommend that you check the latest travel updates from the FCO before you travel.

Flying to Myanmar from the UK:

The flight time between the UK and Myanmar is around 15 hours with no direct options, only indirect flights that will make a transit stop somewhere en route. The city of Yangon is Myanmar's main international gateway with a number of airlines flying between Myanmar and the UK. From London some of the fastest options are with Thai Airways via Bangkok and Singapore Airlines via Singapore. If you're flying from Manchester then the Middle Eastern airlines are the better option, especially Emirates via Dubai who also fly from London. Most other airlines, such as Etihad Airways via Abu Dhabi and Bangkok, make two stops en route. We have a full ATOL licence (ATOL 6109) and would be delighted to provide assistance with your flight booking.
