Incredible experience. The media guide is so helpful, and really helps you understand Van Gogh. Can't recommend this trip enough!

extremely well done tour with the headset. An art history major, I learned some new things about VanGogh. I stayed for four hours. Never have I been in a museum so long.

It was a quick and easy way to get entry. No waiting on line (especially on the day we visited - raining).

I have long been a fan of Van Gogh's work. This exhibit made him more human through letters to his friends and family and other background information. I enjoyed the evolution of his painting and how he was influenced by the Impressionists in France. I would definitely go again!

We purchased our tickets 1 week prior our trip, we choose the time slot available and when we arrived there, we got inside the museum directly, without having to wait or stand in line. The museum is very nice and worth visiting at least once in your life.

Beautiful art in a beautiful facility. They limit the tickets but it still can get a bit crowded. Give yourself time to revist areas.

this is a great museum. Many masterpieces with an exceptionally good audio companion. great tomato soup in the cafe

Excellent Exhibit!! Get the tickets early because the on line tickets sell out too. Even with tickets in hand the line of ticket carrying patrons goes around the building waiting for their turn to enter!!! Have ice cream at take away stand between the museums.

Beautiful museum! Excellent layout with a large collection. Great respect paid to a great, understated artist!

Excellent museum! We all enjoyed it. The audio tour was confusing at first, because the highlighted pictures were not in numerical order. Took us awhile to figure out which way to enter the floor plans and find the pictures that were being discussed. We pushed through it though and all enjoyed the museum VERY much!

Great collection of artwork. Loved the option of taking a picture with the Sunflowers for free. Nice remembrance.

A comprehensive and emotive look at the life and art of a troubled but talented man. It was a privilege to be able to enjoy the huge collection of paintings and drawings by Van Gogh and many other renowned artists, all in one beautiful building.

Although the van Gogh museum is great with a great collection of van Gogh art, the ridiculous rule against picture taking shows the arrogance of those running the museum. That arrogance does not exist at the Rijksmuseum. Just don't use flash. A better van Gogh museum is in his former town of Nuenen in Noord Brabant. Although their art work is not original the presentation and interactive history of his life is far superior than the museum in Amsterdam. This museum in Nuenen is well worth a visit. There you can also visit the home where he actually lived.

Very impressive museum. The Van Gogh story and paintings are displayed in a manor that is easy to follow.

Expect to spend about three hours here. Stories behind the evolution of his life and style is fascinating

We arrived before opening time and got right in with the Skip-the-Line advance tickets. The special exhibit was a little disappointing but the rest of the museum was truly OUTSTANDING! It was great seeing how Vincent's art changed over time and learning more about his life and influences. Seeing the art of his contemporaries/friends was extremely interesting as well. Very well organized and presented!

This was at the top of our list of things to do in Amsterdam and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the Picasso and the impressionist artists were wonderful.

Excellent collection displayed in an interesting way. The audio guide is well worth renting. Not to miss attraction.

STL tickets purchased in advance in USA won the day. Many visitors turned away, as we arrived at our 9 am time slot, due to “all tickets sold out for the day.” Beautiful facility with natural lighting that enhances the experience. Organized collection enabling ease of review of art and personal documents. Handicapped access and plenty of toilet facilities. Two gift shops and a pleasant food court not overpriced and immaculate. Overall awesome

Perfect way to TIME your day, as this tour is based on the entry time that you choose to attend the Van Gogh museum. The Skip the Line ticket works well-I had read previous reviews that indicated some confusion--so I simply asked "where to go" to the Museum workers outside the entrance area. They were well organized and had lines outside the door based on YOUR ENTRY TIME. Note-that if it is raining, the lines are not in a covered area, so keep your umbrellas close by. There is a wonderful coat room in the museum (free) and you will also need to leave backpacks as they are not allowed inside. Be sure to pick up the FREE museum tour headset and device located near the coat room counter area. Then you are able to tour the museum at your own pace--simply dial in the number by the painting and listen. Very informative and easy to use. There are multiple gift shops-so don't worry about shopping opportunities--although the gift shop on one of the upper levels closes promptly at the end of the day...but don't worry, the main gift shop on the entrance level stays open until all guests are out of the building (as does the coat room). Note-if you need to use the elevators-they are small and do take some time-based on the usage.

Loved seeing the paintings and learning about the life of Vincent Van Gogh. The audio visual guide was helpful.

My guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and very thorough. My visit covered both the Mauritshuis and the city center of Den Haag. Since I had recently had hip replacement surgery, I appreciated both his concern and his helpfulness.
