Mike was very knowledgeable, showed us much of Auckland and surrounding areas. Had us back to ship on time and we saw much more than we would have on ship’s 1/2 day excursion. Much better value! 7 folks from ships on tour. He knew easy ways through traffic.

This was a great way to see Auckland. We went to several places we would not have known about or could not have accessed in a different type of tour bus. The tour guide/driver, Tyler, was very personable and made this trip great!

This was a superb tour. We ended up being the only 2 people on the tour so our guide really went out of his way to personalize our experience. We are very interested in horticulture so it was great to learn more about gardening and farming in the Auckland area. We were surprised by how much we got to see and how far we traveled It was a great overview of all of the different areas surrounding the City center and we came away feeling that Auckland has a great deal to be proud of. My only suggestion would be to show us on a map where we had been. I tried to figure it out when we got back to our hotel but we went to so many places, I couldn't figure it out! Very minor issue and we felt like we had a great day and the tour was well worth the money. Highly recommend this tour.

This is an excellent tour for a first time visitor to get a feel for the sights in and around Auckland. Our tour guide, Nick, couldn't have been better at keeping us entertained with his stories and descriptions of what we were viewing. During the tour, he overheard me talking about a bad experience with a taxi driver when we disembarked from our cruise ship. I was worried about taking another taxi to the airport when we were leaving in several days. He then offered to pick up my wife and I and drive us to the airport on his day off. And he did it for a smaller charge than any of our other options. He didn't want us to leave Auckland with any type of bad impressions. Great tour led by a great person. Through no fault of Nick or the tour operator, it poured rain all day during the tour. We still had an enjoyable experience.

Loved, loved this experience! Our family of 5 ages 11 and up enjoyed every part of this tour! We were able to arrange pick/up and drop off very easily with our location. We got a terrific overview of the city with a very personalized touch from our tour guide, Nick. He remembered what was important to each passenger on the journey, and then made sure to point out along the way. High attention to detail, very nice wine tasting, amazing lunch. Definitely the best way to see and experience the Auckland area! Worth it.

This was our best tour ever. A warm greeting got the group mixing right from the start. The information provided and the enthusiasm of the guide to please was exceptional. We where taken to all the best sites, many of which other tours do not cover. Photos where provided for from the very best vantage points. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the full day on the bus and to walk away totally satisfied and in love with Auckland. We cannot recommend this particular tour high enough as a must do in Auckland. Thanks ever so much, Terry and Brenda

This tour was fabulous. David, our tour guide from Auckland Scenic Tours was wonderful. He is very knowledgeable about Auckland and took us on a comprehensive tour of the city. We could not have asked for a better day. This tour was definitely a highlight of our visit to this beautiful city.

Cant rave enough about this trip, David our driver went above and beyond our expectations taking us to places a lot of the bigger buses are unable to access. His local knowledge and enthusiasm for the city comes across in the tour.
• Submitted 27 Nov 2017
This is a gem. Our tour guide DAve who is also the owner operator took us on his clean modern minibus all across town to sites the big buses can't get to. We got in and out quickly missing the traffic jam. We had a wonderful sampler of all the highlights in town but also the western part of the black sand beaches. Lovely wine tasting and a stop for lunch where the locals eat. Highly recommend it! 10 out of 10!!

An excellent day touring Auckland and surrounds. David was a friendly and well informed guide. Comfortable vehicle and very professional and friendly service. Visited some lovely spots with great views over the city such as One Tree Hill and Victoria Hill. Lunch in a very nice restaurant in Auckland's wine growing region. Most enjoyable! Visit to Soljans winery was nice - they make a very enjoyable pinot gris. Wish we had bought more as it is not available in Australia. All in all a great day spent exploring a lovely city with David. Would not hesitate to highly recommend this company. Look forward to returning to Auckland in the not too distant future and would most definately consider another tour with this company. Thanks David for a great day. Best wishes, Margaret and Max

Great small group experience, saw all the sights and our guide was awesome. Unfortunately, it was overcast and rainy in some areas so we could not get out and enjoy the view.
• Submitted 03 Nov 2017
This was so perfect! I was the only person on this tour so I had a private full-day scenic tour!! How lucky I felt. My guide was wonderful - he was very knowledgeable and personable. He took pictures for me so I could be in them and was really nice. I highly recommend this tour.
