Follow our chef instructions to cook your own meal in a fun four-hour-long learning experience. Along the class you will talk about Spanish food, eating habits or any other topic you can bring up.

All meals are prepared in teams of two people, under the guidance of an English speaking local chef and require no previous cooking experience. If you come alone, we’ll try to find a cooking partner to pair up.

Once cooking is done, you will have time to enjoy your meal with your cooking classmates while you share travel experiences.

At the end of the class, you’ll get a recipe booklet including all the recipes made at the school, as well as a welcome gift with a premium Spanish product.

We had such a great time learning about all of the awesome food markets in Madrid. Our chef spoke perfect English and was so funny. She was very helpful to everyone in the class in spite of their experience with cooking. We made luscious Paella Mixta, Sangria, and Crema Catalina! I highly recommend this activity to learn more about how the locals in Madrid shop and prepare their delicious food.

I had a blast learning to make tapas and sangria with Ángel. He was a great instructor and very knowledgeable about the foods - and very helpful in guiding me through the steps. The results were very tasty and I didn’t cut any of my fingers! A new milestone for me in the kitchen! Would recommend this experience whole heartedly!

One of the highlights of our trip to Madrid has to be the class we took with Theresa. From donning custom aprons, to torching the Crema Catalana it was fun, engaging and delicious. Led by her expertise, we created a variety of tapas, Sangria, and lasting memories. Highly recommended for your visit to Madrid.

Our teacher was so much fun! She was a singing instructor with an fantastic voice! The cooking portion was enjoyable but eating the food after we finished cooking was the best part! I could t believe we had made that quality of food!

The socializing and eating are just as important as the cooking in this basic tapas cooking class. The location is convenient, clean, and air-conditioned. The instructor, Laura, was friendly and professional and made the evening special for everyone. The cooking is quite basic but the recipe book will certainly be used in the future. We started by preparing sangria, then a crema Catalan, a Spanish omelette, cooked shrimp, and marinated chorizo. When we all sat to eat there was even more food! And alcohol was available to everyone throughout the entire evening, beer and sodas as well as sangria. I would have easily spent as much money going out to a restaurant but not nearly having as much fun and meeting such lovely travelers and instructor. Absolutely recommended!

A MUST do if you like to cook, or even if it is not your forte. The Chef was so much fun and loved to sing and tell stories. Great recipes and a great time for all.

My granddaughter and I took the paella class and not only learned to make the very best traditional paella, sangria and gazpacho, but had a lot of fun with our delightful teacher. The class of nine from all over the world were friends by the end.

Eduardo has loads of stories about the neighborhood and the history and culture of Spanish cuisine to add to the experience of the cooking in the first place. First rate experience!

Very fun evening spent learning how to make tapas. Ligia was an excellent instuctor and taught not only how to make the dishes, but critical techniques. She made the class very fun and rewarding! Thank you Ligia!

I did the morning tour with cooking the paella as main course. Really enjoyed the class, with Laura who was really clear in explaining the group how to do step by step.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tapas cooking class! We participated in preparing 5 tapas, 1 dessert and an abundant amount of delicious sangria. Eduardo speaks excellent English while explaining each recipe in detail. Upon completion of the scrumptious meal we received a booklet containing all the recipes! We hope to return someday to take more of Eduardo's classes!!

This was the highlight of our Spain vacation! The food was so good and we all had such a great time. My friend is gluten free and they had substitutions for her. When I booked this, my two friends thought it was a strange activity but we still talk about it all the time. Do THIS!

What an excellent experience. The group was comprised of only six people, so the setting was very intimate and not crowded. Great tapas were made, with fun experiences shared. We also were able to learn more about living in Madrid from the Chef who provided us with the cooking lessons. All in all a great experience.

This is a must do. Our instructor was warm and easy to understand. The meal was fabulous and the conversation was entertaining. I highly recommend this cooking class.

Excellent day going to market and cooking paella. It is a well-tooled kitchen for instruction. Lilly made it fun and entertaining.I would highly recommend this class.

The instructor gave us a great tour of the market before starting the class. I had never made paella before and left with two jars of saffaron so I could repeat the recipe at home! I think this class is perfect for anyone wanting to add a bit of Spanish flare to their next dinner party.
