Great way to see beautiful views and land marks. The coach we had was a large double style with the accordion thing joining it. Because it was such a large group it slowed things down even for what should have been just a quick toilet stop, and a couple were half hour late getting back and were almost left behind. Very inconsiderate for the others on the hot bus waiting for them. I hope they read this! The driver was very good, its the only tour that includes dark hedges with giants causeway and the rope bridge. Long tour but good. I wish it was a regular size coach so group not so big,and windows although large I found it obstructed view somehow, maybe the luggage overhang? Not sure but I have done other tours and this particular coach blocked view nd glass had an annoying mottled reflection on the windows too, when driver was pointing things out unless you could see out of front window screen, could not really see what he was talking about. Also we booked our hotel close to where we needed to meet for tour,it said no hotel pickups. When tour started, there were indeed hotel pickups and front row reserved seating for them. How special are they.....I was not very pleased to see not only were they picked up but had the best seats on the bus SAVED just for them so they DID get to see all the nice views that we couldnt because of the stupid design of the coach windows. Driver, and tour were good, the particular coach used...thumbs down

Really enjoyed the tour, it was fun, informative and obviously took us to some fantastic places.

We loved this tour! So many great places to visit and lots of stops. It was perfect for our family. The only negative thing about this tour was the bus. It was an old city bus and therefore did not offer up very good views. There were 4 seats on the bus that didn't even have access to windows.

This is another I tour that I took. Again the scenery was breathtaking. It rained on this one but when we got to the Giant's Causeway, it had stopped. Our guide was Matthew and he knew his history. Stopped In Belfast which I had seen earlier. It is a beautiful city with the old buildings and history.

This was a full day tour and took in a lot. However, it was well worth doing as the scenery was beautiful and the guide very informative. I can recommend this tour.

This is how a day tour should be. The place is very east to find and the attendant is very friendly. Once you are on the bus, make sure you sit behind the driver or the second from the front rows. Ian as the tour guide will give you an extensive guide about....everything! From the stop at Castlefergus castle, Carrick a Rope Bridge, The Dark Hedges trees, and Giant Causeway, you will be mesmerized with the natural scenery that Northern Ireland can offer. Be mindful that to bring extra items of clothing from the shirt, trousers, and underwears since the weather can change very quickly during the winter season. However, everything is top notch. This is definitively an experience that you need to have once in a lifetime. I'm not going to give you too many details in each attraction as it would be a spoiler! However, you will not be going to be disappointed! Thank you very much Ian. I hope to see you really soon! Stay healthy!

I took the Giants Causeway day trip with Allens Tour last week and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. The bus left Belfast just before 10.00am and we stopped at Carrickfergus Castle, it was a short stop but it was enough to stretch your legs and take pictures. We then travelled up the Antrim Coast. Our driver Phil was a brilliant sport, he was very knowledgeable. We then went to the Carrick a rede rope bridge, the scenery was amazing! There was a lunch stop at a place called the Giants Barn, the food was lovely. We then went to the Causeway itself, it was beautiful. The weather wasn't the best but this didn't ruin anything. We stopped at the Dark Hedges on the way back in to Belfast, it was such a nice place to end the tour. I would definitely take this trip again and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know to go with Allens Tours when taking this trip. Send my thanks to Phil, I had a more than enjoyable experience. :

This was one of the highlights of Ireland. The tour guide was nice and entertaining. He was very knowledgeable about the history about the area. Plus he was a great driver. Driving up there made me nervous just being on the same roads. The sites were amazing. 2 items off my bucket list.

What an amazing day trip! The landscape was absolutely breath taking, and each stop full of wonder. The tour guide was super knowledgeable and friendly, and the tour itself was at a good pace and covered everything you could wish to see. And at an extremely good price for what you receive! You will need to pay extra to do a few activities and for food, but it is feasible to opt out of paying for the extras and still get a great tour out of it. If you are interested in exploring Northern Ireland's Antrim coastal way, THIS is the tour! Trip of a lifetime!

This was a great tour by Allans tours. The bus was a little old and the speakers were a bit crackly and difficult to hear at times. But everything else was great. The driver/guide had heaps of info and stories, cafe was good and stops not rushed. Good tour for price!

Excellent! The driver and receptionist guy are very friendly and welcoming. We got a sunshine day in cold January, it was a good drive along the coastline.

Lovely day trip from Belfast. The sites were breathtaking and our driver Philip was charming and funny. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the Antrim coast!

Well worth. It was a good pace and our driver was great. The only thing that could be better was the coach was a little old I think and my seat kept going up and down depending on how hard we stopped and I couldn't change seats because it was full

This isn't the type of tour where the guide talks your ears off or blasts music the whole ride. He gives just the right amount of information when an interesting site is passed, and is more than happy to answer any questions you have. I am very pleased with the tour, it stops for just the right amount of time at each place. If there has to be a critique, it'd be that the bus windows were dusty, making it hard to take good pictures. Overall, a good tour for an affordable price, I recommend.

The trip was excellent. I enjoyed a lot and I would recommend it to everyone. The scenery in Northern Ireland was inconceivably beautiful and the weather was fine, too. It was quite an experience to cross Carrick- a- rede- rope bridge and see the Giant's Causeway. The guide was most helpful and polite. In my view, we would have needed a little more time for the trip, however. For instance, when we stopped for the lunch, we had to eat really quickly and I drank my coffee so quickly that it burnt my esophagus. I would also have wanted to see Carrick Fergus Castle inside. We had time to see it only from outside. Otherwise the tour was perfect. Perhaps some adjustment with scheduling next time.

We really enjoyed this full day tour to the giants causeway. Our driver Phil was very efficient and knowledgeable keeping us on time and informed. The timing of stops was a little unbalanced with lunch not available until nearly 3.00 pm at a cafe obviously used to catering for timed coach parties and only offering full meals or cakes. Bring your own sandwiches if you want to eat earlier or are on a budget. We took the option to cross the Carrick a Reid rope bridge, but if you are not going to do this there is little to do at this stop. Phil's tip that you don't need to pay at the giants causeway visitor centre to access the site was a good one as it is not obvious. The causeway itself was as good as it looks in photos and is well worth a visit.
