Ray, our tour guide, is outstanding. I highly recommend the tour and especially Ray. He is very informative, fun and engaging. He provides a lot of historical reference and keeps us involved. We made a very good choice.

This was a great tour to see various Outlander filming locations. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and we saw visited 14 plus filming sights. We also learned more of the history between the Jacobite's and the English war. Highly recommend.

Timber bush tour well done! Marty the Jacobite was extremely knowledgeable in Jacobite time period history and was a great host. Enjoyed all the sites we visited along the way including Lalllybroch, Linlithgow Palace, Blackness Castle, Culross and Sandringham House. Bus ride very comfortable.

I'd, forgive me, never heard of Outlander, but booked this silely based on the attractions. WOW!! The trip packs alot of fabulous sites in a day; varied and all grand. Martin was a pleasure as both guide and driver.

We loved our guide Gillian. She had loads of Outlander facts and some Scottish history mixed in. She made enough time in all the stops and a few extra quick photo stops. The coach was nice and the group was small about 13 people. I would say this is a day we’ll spend if you are in Edinburgh :)

My 18 daughter and I were in Scotland for a week. She is a big outlander fan and convinced me this would be fun. It was! I have never seen the show but I learned so much from our guild Tonks. She explained a great deal of Scottish history and pointed out various sights around Edinburgh. She also must be a fan of Outlander because she kept my daughter and other fans on our bus interested. The coach we road in was roomy and comfortable. We left on time and returned on time. This tour is not just for fans of Outlander. We stopped at 3 castles that were all different and cool. We had enough time to walk the grounds and never felt rushed. I would recommend this tour to anyone, families included. I had a blast. Really take the tour. Thanks Tonks.

As a fan of the Outlander Books and show, it was cool to visit places of filming, experience Scotland’s immense beauty, and embrace a part of my own heritage. Martin Simpson was an excellent and patient guide and I hope to have him as a guide on my next trip. Thank you Martin 😁

Andrew T was an amazing tour guide, he was very friendly and seemed like he really cared that people enjoyed themselves. He was also conscientious of the time we had at each place and made sure he counted us before taking off. I would definitely take this tour again and can only hope Andrew T would be our guide again.

My mom is a huge Outlander fan and this didn't disappoint! She loved it and I was amused as well (not an Outlander fan). Eddie made all the difference - full of information and made sure we saw it all and had a great time.

My husband, 8 other friends and I really enjoyed this tour, lead by Andrew. We we're blessed with fabulous weather. Andrew was very clear on what we were doing, how long we were staying at each site. Andrew was skilled at weaving the history of Scotland with the specifics of Outlander. He clearly is a fan. Some of the sites cost additional money, but you get a cost reduction for being on tour. We paid nothing due to having a Scotland Explorer pass. Even my husband loved this tour. I recommend it as a great value and lots of fun. Thank you Andrew!!

Andrew was our driver/guide. He met us dressed in a kilt with all the trimmings. He added so much to our tour with his knowledge and friendly persona. We had a ball! If you're an Outlander fan, don't miss this!

The tour was very well managed. All of the sights noted in the description of the tour were visited. Enough time was allowed at each stop to view most of the sight and read information about the sight. Although several of the castles were not furnished, enough background was provided to obtain a feeling of how people lived in these castles. Hopetoun House was completely furnished and was well worth the price of admission. We were treated to quite a bonus at the end of the tour in Hopetoun House. Members of a choir from Norway were on our tour, and they sang two songs and one was Amazing Grace in English. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and professional.

If you are an Outlander tragic like me, then this is the tour for you! Started off with the theme music to Outlander to get us in the mood as if this group of Outlander fans needed it, and our fabulous guide Gregor, in a kilt! We saw not only Outlander filming sights, but learnt all about Scottish history, especially the Jacobite's and the rebellion. Gregor gave us a running commentary on all the sights we passed and in between times there was music to suit the mood. He was extremely entertaining all the way. I came from Melbourne Australia to do this tour, and it did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

Greggor was an awesome host. This trip was perfect. We got to see outside the city for a while, smooth ride and beautiful countryside. Would definitely recommend whether you’re an Outlander fan or just want to enjoy beyond the city center.

This was an awesome experience. The bus was very comfortable. The guide drove and used a microphone so you could hear very well. The bus held 14 people. All aboard were all about the Outlander experience, so we made friends fast. The places we stopped were excellent. Jillian knew a lot of history and other facts, along with a vast knowledge of Outlander facts.

Gregor was a great tour guide. Loved that the bus had usb ports to charge phone. It spoiled me for other tours though. I do wish that locations would be secured before our arrival. One was scheduled, but was closed due to filming another show. Driver was not aware until we arrived. Since I love Outlander it was great tour to visit places where episodes were filmed, I do wish Lallybroch was open or that we could at least have driven by it. Would definitely do another Outlander tour with this company during a different time of the year, when more locations were open.

Three months later and we are still talking about our Outlander and Jacobite tour! We had an amazing tour guide Gregor who was informative, helpful, and funny. The coach was very comfy as we toured through the beautiful highlands with Scottish music and Gregor sharing knowledge of the area. We even stopped for ice cream! The only problem was that it came to an end but we are so delighted to have amazing memories to last for a long time.

Dom did an excellent job with our group - he knew EXACTLY where to go for the best photos, even of Hairy Coo's. The winter version of this tour was fabulous. Great castles and palaces to visit that held both Jacobite history as well as appearing in Outlander. The lunch stop combined Linlithgow Palace with food and was the perfect amount of time. And - because if was a Sunday - traffic was great and the entire day flowed along beautifully. Thanks Dom, timberbush tours, for a great day
