Had a wonderful time on our 2 day GOTs tour. Both tour guides were excellent. Only recommendation would be to use better plastic photo covers in the books when showing us pictures of the scene locations we visit. It was hard to see the pictures due to wrinkles and reflections, however we noticed other tour guides had better, and clearer pictures in their books. If going on a GOTs tour you need to CLEARLY see the scenes as they were filmed so you can best appreciate the shooting locations you are observing. But we really enjoyed the tours. Highly recommend.

This is an amazing tour if you are a Game of Thrones fan then I highly recommend this tour. My tour guides were very knowledgeable about Game of Thrones you also learne about the local history of the area during this tour. The tour guides use visual aids to show you scenes from the show about the places you visit during the tour. The tour agency allowed me to change the dates for my tour due to my delayed flight which resulted in me arriving in Croatia a day later than planned. You see many scenes from the show and the tour guides explain each scene thoroughly. If you love Game of Thrones then I highly recommend you do the entire tour in both split and Dubrovnik.

We booked the combo tour as we are great GOT fans and being on a cruise that visited both Dubrovnik and Split we thought these tours would be a perfect way to spend the day at both cities. We were given very clear and easy to follow directions for meeting our guides and we met up with them without any problems. Our tour guide in Dubrovnik, Lana, was very knowledgeable about the history of Dubrovnik as well as the GOT series and we spent almost 4 hours touring around all the locations. Luka was our guide in Split and we travelled to Klis Fortress in an air conditioned mini bus with two other couples. This was an amazing place. We returned to Diocletians Palace for the second part of the tour. At this point the other two couples left the tour as they were suffering from a bit of over indulgence the previous night and we were given a personalised tour by Luka for the remaining hour. Out of the two tours we preferred Split but both guides we excellent and had still shots of the numerous scenes that were filmed at the locations. Certainly worth going on even if you're not a GOT fan.

Excellent walking tours of Game of Thrones filming locations. Just as interesting, however, is the real life history of Croatia - itty could be a series of its own. Well worth the time, we'll work the money. You will see the locations s they are and compare them with the way they appeared on the show.... Sometimes surprisingly different, other times exactly the same as the show. Catch the tour before the next season begins!

For all GOT fans this is a must-do tour in both Dubrovnik and Split

I don't see how I can do separate reviews for Dubrovnik and Split, so I have to combine. Both very knowledgeable, not just about the show but history of the cities which I think is important. Dubrovik specific - went on a Monday, still had a decent sized crowd. Tour guide was Andrea I don't remember her real Croatian name. Doesn't hurt that she was very cute also: I recommend doing the optional tour of the Garden, it's double the cost but you're in a place which is much less crowded and therefore have to deal with less tourists. Split - went on a Friday, got lucky as it's offseason and I was with only one other person, so we had very exclusive tour, and tour guide showed us a lot more than usual groups during peak season. Tour guide was Marin, lot more of actual city history on this one which was really cool.

Fully recommended for any GoT fan out there. Both tours, in both Split and Dubrovnik, were organised well with lots of good insight into the GoT show whilst being interlinked with the histories of the either location and Croatia as a whole. Tour guides on both tours were knowledgable and interesting so I didn't find myself losing interest at any point.

Great experience. 'Elite travel tours are marginally more expensive than others, but after booking a couple of different tours with other companies I would definitely recommend going with Elite - worth every penny. Our guide in Split was very knowledgeable both on GOT and on the history of the city when we went to Kils fortress, we actually spent more time talking about the history of the place totally fascinating, even more than City of Mereen in GOT. The price of the tour in Split also includes the entrance to Diocletian palace's cellars as the tour ends there, you can stay there and continue exploration on your own. In Dubrovnik, Tea did a great job of telling us about Dubrovnik history and so many behind the scenes GOT moments that we really felt as if we are part of the movie. We also went to the Trsto Arboretum - nice place if you want to get out of crowds for a while and enjoy the gardens of King's Landing. I believe that based on the customers' feedback, Elite changed the itinerary a little, as we didn't get to go to the walls during the tour, but we received the tickets instead and therefore were able to enjoy the full wall walk at our own pace and time highly appreciated, as we went up there after the midday heat became somewhat bearable, so we were actually able to enjoy it. The only suggestion to elite would be to try and schedule some of the morning tours earlier in the morning, to avoid the walks under the midday sun. Since the demand for GOT tours is high, it would be nice to have a choice between starting at 10.15 and 8:15. Given the choice, I personally would choose the earlier option. In any case, great experience, friendly and knowledgeable guides - highly recommended!

My wife is a complete Game of Thrones fanatic. I am not so much. This tour was very much geared to wards a GOT fan, but, the tour contained so many beautiful places and historic information that it was enjoyable to me as well. We did the two day Split/Dubrovnik tour. It was well managed and both guides were very knowledgable not just on the GOT stuff but the real history of the places that were in the show. Both cities are really incredible to see and this was a fun way to see them. I would recommend these tours to anyone.

Amazing tour! Started in Split- the guide, Marin, was funny, friendly and explained so much about not only the filming locations, but the history of Split. A couple of days later I went on the Dubrovnik tour, which was a highlight of my whole trip. The guide, Natalie, was so informative about the history of Dubrovnik, whilst also having amazing knowledge of Game of Thrones and some inside gossip! Walking up to the top of Fort Lovrijenac to see King's Landing from up high was insane. You couldn't help but feel like a Khaleesi walking the city walls despite all the steps and sweat- I advise wearing comfortable shoes! Brilliant tours with brilliant guides- couldn't have wished for anything better. :

Game of Thrones Split - This tour was great. Our tour guide in Split was Agnes. She was fantastic. She is very enthusiastic about her job or at least does a great job pretending to be and that makes the tour enjoyable. Her English is great so shes easy to understand. She knows a lot about Game of Thrones but also a lot about the history of Split we are interested in both. My husband and I did the tour in March and it ended up being just us so that was a nice bonus I really dont like tours that are so large you feel like a herd of cattle. She was on time and prepared. She was able to answer all our questions and was very nice about offering to take photos for us and happily stopped when we wanted to take some of our own for a minute or two. I would recommend this tour and highly recommend Agnes as a tour guide. Game of Thrones Dubrovnik - We did this tour a few days later. There were 7 of us in the group, which was not bad were told its much larger in the summer. Our tour guide was Natasa. She seemed to enjoy her job and was enthusiastic about the show as well as the history of Dubrovnik we are interested in both parts of the tour I know some people just want to see where things were filmed, but I would be disappointed if we didnt actually learn some things in the process too. The tour involves lots of stair climbing everything in Dubrovnik involves climbing stairs so be aware of that if you have mobility issues. We were the only ones who did the add-on of Trsteno Arboretum. Were quite glad we did as it is a lovely place. However, something to be aware of if you do the add-on the regular tour finishes on the city walls after covering about half of the walk. If you are not doing the add-on, you are free to continue the rest of the walls on your own with the ticket that is included in the GoT tour. But, since you can only enter the walls once on a ticket, doing the arboretum means you only get to see half the walls at that time. Not a big deal for us because we did the walls and the fort on our own the day before so we could see as much as we wanted and take our time, but I could see how this could be frustrating to someone who didnt know in advance. So, now you know. Overall, it was a good tour and Id recommend it.

Knowledgeable and charming guides gave us the real history and local insight, in addition to the GOT fun.

These tours are really well organised. They have photos of the scenes that we're shot at the location and can provide insight of what was CGI and give a local's view of the experience of GoT filming in their home town. They also provide history of the locations which we found very interesting. Our tour guide in Split Agnes was particularly insightful as she shared her experiences of the filming, local history, local foods and crafts. Her passion for the show was great to hear and added to the enjoyment of the tour. The only suggestion I have is if they had a booklet you could buy of the places visited compared to the scenes in the show. I definitely would have bought that.

I loved it, lots of stairs Both guides were knowledgeable about the history of the town and the show.

The tour guides, Agnez and Zoran, were fantastic. Being fans of the show themselves definitely made the experience enjoyable. They pointed out several locations that were used and how they were altered for the final scenes in the show. I also enjoyed the rich Croatian history lessons. It's definitely worth the extra money to see the Trsteno Arboretum in Dubrovnik - the views are stunning and it was virtually empty!!

A fantastic GOT tour in both cities. Well worth doing even if you aren't a fan. Lots of interesting filming gossip, sights and city history as well. Totally recommend doing this

Fabulous!!! Both tours in Dubronik and Split included jam packed information on the Game of Thrones film locations, gossip about the show, including personal anecdotes from locals and others who participated in one way or another in the show. In addition, there was a lot of real history describing the locations visited. All of that, plus the beautiful settings that cannot be described but need to be experienced to be believed!
