Pass By: New Town, Prague Czech Republic

The tour commences by pick ups in Prague city center

Stop At: Tiske steny, Tisa 205, Tisa 403 36 Czech Republic

Your first stop will be the "Tisa Rocks" national natural monument, located at the heart of the natural reserve "Elbe Sandstones". Your guide will lead you through narrow passages and along bizarre stone pillars, reminding you of a fairy tale land. It is no wonder that scenes from the famous fantasy movie "Chronicles of Narnia" were filmed here. You will have enough time to slowly explore the area and access the tops of the rocks to enjoy the great views.

Duration: 3 hours

Pass By: Decin Castle, Dlouha jizda 1254, Decin 405 02 Czech Republic

On your way to lunch you will drive through the local town of Decin with it's great castle, Elbe river and several historical buildings. This town is the gateway to the Bohemian Switzerland national park.

Stop At: Bohemian Switzerland National Park, Prazska Krásná Lípa, 40746 Czech Republic

Next stop on your tour is a tasty á la carte lunch in a local restaurant "U Forta" in the middle of Bohemian Switzerland national park. This restaurant is an excellent foodie choice (also for vegetarians and vegans) and many travelers rate it better than Prague restaurants. You can have anything from the menu, one main course and one drink. Local draft beer Cvikov is an excellent choice.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Bastei Bridge, Basteistrasse, 01824 Lohmen, Saxony Germany

After a tasty lunch, the guide will take you to the German side of the Saxon Switzerland National Park, to the "Bastei", an iconic rock-formation, medieval times fortress and a stone-bridge high above the river Elbe. An easy walk will take you to the main viewpoints overlooking the huge Elbe canyon with table mountains all around. With good weather, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset from this place as well.

This is truly a stunning destination. The kind you'd put on your bucket list. The tour guide you choose must be no amateur however. Mareck was on time, he has good command of the itinerary, we had a few freebie snacks, enjoyed a sumptuous lunch, he was very knowledgeable about Bastei and Elbe Canyon, gave us a bookmark memento of our boat ride, provided healthy snacks and water! And he is fit to walk it all. If you are fit, he is twice that. Note for those who are not used to hiking or walking, start getting fit now before you sign up.

Let me begin with acknowledging the efforts of our tour guide Zuzka. She was great throughout the tour - on time pick up, explaining the history about of the national park, getting us back safely to the hotel. The place is worth to visit and especially when it is raining. It is beautiful to watch the sand stone mountains with clouds covering the tip of the mountains. While rain was not predicted during our visit, it did drench us and the hail storm was a surprise. Lunch was on the way at a restaurant and availability of vegetarian option was a bonus. Weather was really great and we really enjoyed the day. We would certainly recommend this tour to all visitors to Prague. Special thanks to Zuzka once again for treating us so well.

Reserving the trip was easy and received a text the day before confirming our reservations and pick up time. Our van was on time and our guides were very friendly. We stopped to pick additional travelers up and spoke to the guides along the way about the countryside. The hike was moderate, never felt rushed or pushed to walk faster and paced ourselves for those who may have needed a little more time. The views were breathtaking and definitely worth the tour outside of the city. We stopped at a local restaurant for lunch which was delicious and offered native cuisine. I would most definitely book another tour and encourage anyone thinking of doing so to do it. The views are amazing, the experience exceeded our expectations and the interaction with other tourists and the guides was nice.

Tony, our guide, was well versed on the history of the region and he took great care of us. Weather was unusually cold for March so the email prior to departure helped ensure I was prepared so I could enjoy the hikes! The natural wonders were spectacular. Thanks for a wonderful day!

Guide was great. He was well prepared with gloves, hats, walking sticks and snow spikes for those that needed assistance. Could have spoke louder in the bus. He was hard to hear in the back on bumpy roads. He was spectacular on the hikes. He gave us so much information about the rock formations and the castle ruins at the Bastille bridge. We did two hikes as it was January. The scenery was beautiful at both locations. We stopped at a quaint restaurant for lunch. It was a wonderful way 1/2 way through the day to get to know the group. The guide was fantastic!

It was a rainy day, cold and windy but we had one of the BEST experiences of our life. Elbe Canyon is magnificent- be prepared for a 2 hours walk and hike but it worth every single minute. Then Bastei Bridge- we visited all under rain but it was fantastic. Something I may say you can't miss.

A wonderful tour full of amazing sites and the best of nature. A little strenuous but worth it. The guide was excellent. We are old people and it was not easy for us. But he was very considerate and cause us to enjoy the tour in spite of the hardship. A great guy.

Even though it rained the whole day this was still a very enjoyable experience. Vladka was a great guide and she even gave her rain poncho to one of the guests. She went above and beyond!

I booked this trip from home as it was highly recommended and we weren't disappointed, although the weather wasn't very kind to us it rained most of the day. We really did enjoy the 2km walk beside the River up to where you hopped on a little boat and went further up seeing some wonderful sights it did look spectacular in the mist. We then continued to where the Elbe sandstone mountains were but the rain and mist did stop us from seeing afar. Our guide was excellent he looked after us very well, supplying us with more rain coats Food was excellent would highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this day. The guide sorry his name escapes me was wonderful and his english was good which made it easier when he explained things during the day. The day consisted of a reasonably steep walk down to the Gorge, a small walking distance along a track, a boat ride and then another 30 minutes walking. The walk was easy and enjoyable. Lunch was enjoyable with my only comment being that we waited over an hour after ordering for our meals. I think with was a restaurant mistake as they provided us with dessert 'on the house'. The next part of the day to the bridge was fantastic the scenery was amazing and well worth seeing. Well worth the effort to go on this day trip. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our guide Waldemar was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and I highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to get out of the city and see the countryside. The views along the river were lovely the our boat captain pointed out many points of interest while Waldemar translated for us. The trip to the old fort was lovely, and the views were incredible. There is an outdoor amphitheater and the sound rising up from that just added to the beauty of the trip.

One of the highlights of our European visit! The day was incredible from start to finish. Marek was the best guide. He was so congenial and knowledgeable. We never felt rushed and the pace was perfect. My husband has a slight knee issue but made it through the park walk fine. The scenery was nothing short of spectacular. We had a full van and by the time the tour was over, we were all friends. We would recommend this to everyone!
