“
We missed our tour and the operator was gracious in offering a spot on next day's tour. Good service and the tour was given by a historian who was informative on way to terezin and back. Tour at the site was by guide from the site.”

“
The camp is obviously a terrible place to visit. The guide and tour however were very good. Our guide on the bus gave us historical background about Prague and Czech Republic on the way to the camp. At the camp we had another guide who led our tour around the camp, he was passionate about the topic, and was excellent. By the end of the tour I was just ready for it to be to over, only because it’s so depressing. The guides and driver were all excellent and I would recommend the tou.”

I never knew that Prague had concentration camps near by. This fortress has so much history that amazed me. A definite tour for history buffs as well as educational for the rest of us. A must for all.”

“
There is a lot to take in for a one day visit. If you want to see every single item it would take more than a day. Our guide did a wonderful job walking us through the highlights and answered any questions we gave her. Very interesting history. Tip: As with any other full day trip we always pack drinks and snacks just in case.”

“
What made our day trip to Terezin so great, is that our tour guide was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable and very passionate! He is the BEST tour guide we have ever encountered! When we return to Prague for our next adventure we definitely book our day trip with Viator!”

“
This nearly 6 hour tour was very informative, and our guide, Sarah, was very knowledgeable. If you can fit this in your schedule, it’s a ‘must see’. If I were to recommend any improvement, it would be to lengthen the time at the Ghetto Museum. As scheduled, you basically have to make a choice whether to eat lunch or spend time in the museum. Also note, that lunch is not included and to give you more time at the museum, it is best to pack a lunch than to rely on the limited lunch options at the museum. FYI: the driver (nor anyone else) smoked on our bus—a previous review mentioned the driver smoked, and being sensitive to that, we almost decided not to go.”

“
Our guide, Judith, was informed and congenial. We learned so much on this tour! This story is an important one to be heard and remembered. The timing was enough and the cost so reasonable.”

“
Visiting Terezin Concentration Camp was a very somber and moving experience. It is very sobering to visit the site of where some of the worst atrocities in History actually took place. This is not a tour for everyone, especially children. But if you are interested in learning more about the horrific conditions the people at Terezin had to endure, then this is one to be considered.”

“
Though I have visited some former Nazi concentration camps, like Dachau, I did not realize the significance of Terezin until I took this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us great information. The local guide at the small fortress was excellent as well. I'm very glad that I went.”

The Guide Itka gave us informative and historical facts of this horrible time. Very Sad and Sobering. Everyone should go”

“
Fascinating to see the museum displays and listen to the guide - and heartbreaking. This was the showplace the Nazis took outside visitors to. Artists and musicians were sent here - at least long enough to be on display to visitors, and to leave some of their work behind. After they were displayed, apparently, they were moved on to other camps such as Auschwitz. At Terezin Theresienstadt in German, the entire town was turned into a concentration camp, but it's unlike the others because its purpose was to let outsiders think the Nazis were taking care of some of their prisoners. Locals were filmed playing soccer and looking healthy, as part of the propaganda.”

“
Our tour guide was incredible!! He was so knowledgeable and world traveled in history so he shared many things with us that made the history of Terezin more intriguing. This was a moving and memorable tour would recommend to anyone visiting Prague. Bring a snack or lite lunch as the small shop at Terezin has only limited items like hot dogs, fries and ice cream. Bought a book at the gift shop that was a good read too.”

“
I was very impressed with this tour. Our guide, Judy, was amazing and really made the day so interesting. It was both in English and Spanish which bothered quite a few of the English speakers but I didn't mind. Judy did spend more time with the Spanish tourists because there were no signs in Spanish while English speakers had the option of being able to read signs. It was a moving and emotional day but I was very glad to have experienced it. Judy poured her heart and soul into the tour and she made the day for me.”
