On the first morning of our 4 day stop in Bordeaux we took this wonderful walking tour. A great introduction to the city and quite easy thanks to the compactness of the Old center. Well worth the the time and quite affordable.

Our guide, Veronique , was very informative. She explained a lot of the history behind the sights. Pointed out places that might be of interest to visit that weren't on the tour. We took her advice and went to some of those places the next day.

We enjoyed our walking tour of the city sights of Bordeaux and Bruno was a very interesting, informative and amusing guide (also liked his tip about trying Lillet blanc with a twist of orange though we didn't get to our 4th glass so our credit cards are still safe !!!!!)

Well worth the money. We walked through the area of the Bourse, the Quais in that area, and down to the medieval city. Our guide was knowledgeable, offered perspective, and was very good at noting how much the city has changed over the years. I wished for more, but she gave us two hours and then offered a wonderful suggestion for lunch.

The success of tour like this is largely dependent on the guide and we were so lucky to have Michael Haddak who made us all feel very welcome and as well as being very knowledgeable - he also has a great energy which really adds to the tour. Thank you again for arranging such a great, interactive and fun tour.

Very interesting tour with a very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable guide Catherine. Definitely recommend to any visitors wanting to hear about the history of the city, much better than the bus tour I went on the previous day.

Christine Cougul was an excellent guide with a charming, lively personality, a true love for her city, and an excellent command of English. She was heard easily in our moderate sized group, and it was great to see the city on a Sunday when traffic and noise were minimal, and most shops were closed. The walk was at an easy pace, and Christine gave us interesting information without overwhelming us with dates and facts we'd never remember. We'd never used Viator before, so we were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to exchange our vouchers and meet our group at the Tourism Office. The low cost for such an excellent tour was the clincher for us we will use Viator as often as we're able in the future.

Fantastic english-speaking walking tour. Tour guide made the history of Bordeaux come alive. He kept our interest the whole time. We did many walking tours on our 34 day Europe trip and this was way up there with the best.

Great tour. A lot of information and good overview of Bordeaux for a great price.

This was a great day trip and so glad we decided to book this instead of hiring our own car. We wouldn't have been able to go to half the places we did otherwise. Especially good if you have limited time, we had a great opportunity to see some amazing towns and lavender fields. Unfortunately the lavender fields were not as vibrant as we'd hoped but that's because we came at the end of the season, the day before harvesting. We were told the fields would normally be in their prime around June/July. Our guide was lovely and knowledgable and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
