We took this tour on February 1, 2020. We were a little concerned because it was winter but the tour was great. Our tour guide was Camille and she was great also. She was very knowledgeable and provided all genres of information on Eze and Monaco - origin, social issues, political issues, geography, history......While driving or when we arrived at a scheduled stop. She would drop us off at a specific location and tell us when to be back. That gave us free time to walk around and explore. We found that there was sufficient time for us to walk around Eze, Monaco (where we had time for lunch) and Monte Carlo. I definitely recommend this tour”

Great tour in Eze and Monaco with Laura.
She is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. She gave us enough time on our own to explore and pointed out the highlights. I would do it again. So fun!”

We really liked our tour guide Alexandre. He was very accommodating, knowledgeable and personable. He showed us where all the movie and music stars live, shared the history of Eze, Monaco and Monte-Carlo and gave us the right balance between guidance and letting us explore on our own. The Mercedes van was new, clean and comfortable and he was a good driver. Azur tours did a great job.”

The tour was very good as we drove from Nice to Monaco. Saw lots and guide explained lots. Eze was difficult as there were many difficult stairs to get to the village.”

Great tour to see Monaco and the medieval village of Eze. Our tour guide, Eva, arrived on time to pick the 4 of us up at the hotel. There were only 8 of us on the tour as expected.
Eva stopped at several scenic lookout points for photo opps. It was about a 30 minute van ride to Monaco, which is busy with tourists, but was a must see for us to see how the other half live:).
Please note that the tour guide will point out all the attractions you may want to visit, including the Palace (which costs 14 euros/ adult to visit), the changing of the guards away noon, the Oceanographic Museum (which also has an entrance fee), the gardens near the palace and the Prince's car museum. We were given about 2 hours on our own, which was plenty of time to take the Palace tour , which took 1 hour, watch the changing of the guards,
which takes about 10 minutes, leisurely roam the gardens and take tons of pictures with the amazing views from that vantage point. Another couple on our tour was able to squeeze in the car museum as well.
Eze is a charming medieval town, but does require a bit of walking up hill on stone steps, which wasn't a problem, but just something to note. The shops are literally in small, charming caves along th ge paths. Again, the tour guide gave us free time to explore the village.
We didn't do the perfume factor tour as the other 2 couples had already done one and my daughters had no desire to do it. Apparently, it's a short tour that ends in the perfume store. The store, however, is worth visiting due to its enormous selection of perfumes and soaps. We realized that we couldn't find the same items back in Nice.
An extra photo stop on the way back to Nice was included since we had extra time.
Would recommend this tour, but wondered afterwards if just finding a cheaper option to get us to these towns would have sufficed due to all the free time we had. Book this tour if you're like me and don't want to have to stress about the details while you're enjoying your vacation!”

Absolutely loved this tour. Only thing would have liked a little more time in Eze...but understand on a schedule. Guide was fun and informative. Perfume stop and Monaco also great stops. Liked the mix of guided tour and time on our own to explore.”

My wife and I did this excursion during our honeymoon, and had a fantastic time! Exactly as advertised. Our tour guide Martina was extremely energetic and knowledgable, which added a lot to the trip as well. She even stopped at a few nice spots for photos. If you're looking for a quick day trip to Monaco and Eze, this is the way to do it!”

Our group of 8 enjoyed a relaxing private tour of Monaco first, the best part was the old town with every turn a travellers delight with lots of small alleyways for shopping, wandering and refreshments. The aquarium is certainly worth a visit. It was very hot the day we went so a short walk around the casino up town (you can go into the foyer and have a look around and you have to pay to go right into the casino). Take note of all the amazing cars parked outside. Next was the old town of Eze with a tour through the famous perfume factory. Eze is at the top of a mountain, very steep climb through very small alleyways with every turn an amazing revelation, small easy to climb steps but as a very hot day took its toll on us all. Lots and lots of hidden treasures to discover in this very ancient pretty town. Great day had by all.”

He shared his extensive knowledge with us, enhancing the entire experience. It was a memorable day that we will look back on fondly.”

This has to be the best day tour I have ever taken. Our guide,Laura,is one in a million. The People Carrier Mercedez was immaculate - new vehicle - very comfortable. The pace of the tour was well planned and gave time to explore at set down points. The information that Laura gave was so essential to enjoying the various locations - the places speak for themselves - but Laura brought everything to life - frankly never had such a charming and well informed tour guide”

Fascinating small group tour. Carolina provided an excellent narrative of each site we visited and answered questions through out the day. She spoke English very well and loud enough for passengers in the back of the van. At the end of the tour we all chose Eze as the most interesting place we visited. Driving the Grand Prix F1 track was fun while listening to Carolina describe the city, people and money that flows in during the race. Expect to buy perfume or soaps at the end of the Fragonard tour, they have a great gift shop. Remember to tip your guide, whether on a fishing boat in Alaska, a class 4 white water rafting trip, or visiting historical sites in insane traffic.”

Fantastic day trip. Eze is such a quaint beautiful town with picturesque view and pretty paths. Spend some money to go to the garden on the hill.
Monaco is such a great city/country, very wealthy with beautiful view of the Med sea.”

This is an excellent tour. Our guide, Justin, was perfect. He provided lots of background and historical and other interesting information and always asked for our input on what to see and what he should talk about. He was wonderful at answering questions about Nice and environs not related to the tour itself. The most interesting part of the tour, for us, was all the great viewing places. Be sure and go to the top in Eze and pay the modest fee--the view is superb. The timing was great throughout the day. I enjoyed the perfume factory tour as did my husband, he just did not buy anything. We especially enjoyed the Monaco Aquarium and had plenty of time to see it, as well as have lunch and walk around. We are not gamblers but the visit to Monte Carlo was fun also.”

This was a wonderful tour, I highly recommend this for anyone who is spending any time on the south coast of France. Pretty much all of the south of France is fantastic and beautiful. And contrary to what you've heard most everyone we met was very nice. Our tour guide was friendly and helpful and gave good advice to best enjoy all the stops. Be sure to buy yourself a few items at the Fragonard perfumer, our experience with their products are that they are so superior to anything you would pick up at a department store you won't believe the difference. Monaco, is definitely a place for the very wealthy, all you have to do is look around at some of the cars, while there I saw at least two or three cars that were worth 3 mill each. Take the time to go to the aquarium it's fantastic, and while you are there near the aquarium check in at City Hall and talk to the very nice young lady at the front desk and get a Monaco stamp in your passport, not many people have one of those and fun to lord it over your friends that also travel a lot.”
