Absolutely fabulous tour guide. Awesome lunch. Only wish I had seen more of the gardens But that was out of the control of our guide. Mass crowds

It was a picturesque, comfortable ride in a clean, modern bus to Giverny's Monet House. After a brief guided tour of the gardens, we had ample time to explore the gardens and pond in further detail. Then we independently toured the main house, which was too small and crowded to handle a guided tour of 20+ people. The gift shop offered a wide selection of memorabilia. As usual, the ladies room was inadequate for the crowd. We then drove to a nearby restaurant, which was spacious, as if it was an event hall. Private tables were set up for our group. The meal was excellent. Quite a surprise, as there was unlimited free wine included. At Versailles, the guide was very knowledgeable and thorough. The crowd was manageable and there was no wait for our group to enter. After the guided tour, there was ample time to explore the gardens. We returned to the pick up point about 6:30. Overall, a good experience and value.

Most informative with added humor by guide as appropriate. Timing was on spot and the venue for the lunch was great. Highly recommend.

The gardens st Giverny were beautiful. Not too crowded although so you could get a lot of pictures. You don't get any time to walk around Giverny but we didn't mind. The house and grounds are worth seeing. Our lunch stop was at an old mill. The food and wine were excellent. A very beautiful setting. Versailles is huge and our guide explained what we would be seeing ahead of time. She did a wonderful job of providing history and insight into royal life. Because we did not have to wait in a line to get in we had extra time to explore the grounds.

Combined Givery and Versailles palace trip. Giverny in the morning, expect about an +1hour coach trip; small group of about 15. The gardens and house can be very crowded with people. Lunch provided at a nearby mill house was excellent (location and quality). Afternoon at Versailles and the 'jump the queue' privilage is a must which is what you pay for in this package. Never be late for the coach. They can give you 15 mins to return late but after that they will leave you behind. You are warned!

The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The Monet House is interesting but the gardens were magnificent. Versailles, as expected was very crowded, but the gardens were beautiful. Would recommend either a full day at Versailles, or a separate trip just to visit the gardens.

The whole trip was wonderful. Our guide explained everything from the ride over to Giverny and on the way to our lunch area and back on the bus to Versailles. She did a wonderful job. I am sorry I did not get her name. The bus ride was very comfortable.

Everything was a described. We had enough time at each location (even at this time of the year Versailles was crowded) and the lunch was delicious. They are definitely punctual, so don’t lose track of time! We’ll do it again.

Amazing! Great tour guides and the lunch was fantastic at a very quaint mill. Loved the entire experience!

I felt we spent too much time at Monet’s House and not enough time at Versailles. Our guide was hard to understand and people got lost. She didn’t keep the group together. The lunch was great. I only wish we had a different guide.

This was an absolutely wonderful tour from the gardens of Monet to the extravagant Palace of Versailles. The 3 course lunch, including wine, was delicious and in a country setting. It was so nice and relaxing to have someone else do the driving and handle the days itinerary. Highly recommend

What an amazing day!! The morning at Monet's Mansion and Gardens, lunch at an old mill restaurant under the trees, next to a beautiful river, and then the afternoon at the Palace of Versailles!!! This is a 'not-to-be-missed' tour!! Worth every penny and I would go on it again if I were to go back to Paris! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and made our day extraordinarily special by being able to answer any questions we posed!! My daughter and I had many "wow, we're here!!" moments that day!! Go on this tour!! You're missing out if you don't!!

This tour was wonderful. Words cannot describe the beauty that is Giverny. This tour is extremely well organized, the hosts were wonderful, and the lunch included was ah-mazing! I had initially considered venturing to Versailles on my own and spending the entire day, but I am very happy I chose to do this tour instead. It's so well organized that you can just sit back and enjoy everything you're going to see on the tour. I really love Monet's work, so I found this tour was a perfect was to spend a day while visiting Paris. I was initially hesitant to book this tour because of the price, but after the experience I am so happy I booked it.

We had a fun day on this trip. Giverny and Monet's Gardens were beautiful. Lunch was at an old Water Mill which was quaint and lovely. Versailles was long - but it was also very hot that day. The tour was nice and informative - but again very hot and very crowded. Overall it was a fun day!

Nice day trip although next time we would go on our own to Versailles to be able to spend more time in the gardens. Time spent at Giverny was appropriate. Tour guide knew about both places and provided good information at both locations. She didn't really seem open to questions so pretty much just kept to her script.

Giverny was an amazing place and you had just enough time to take in the flowers and snap some pictures of the water lilies. Lunch was at a cute and very French looking watermill restaurant where we enjoyed some wine and good food. Then we were off to the palace of Versailles for the grand tour. It was rather crowded but we had an hour to explore the ground after the tour. However an hour was defiantly not enough time.

What a beautiful day! Versailles is over the top beautiful, but we truly loved visiting Claude Monet's country home and gardens - such a contrast!!!
• Submitted 16 Jul 2018
Both of these amazing places and best with a tour. We passed an incredibly long line at both Giverny and Versailles and got to experience both of those with plenty of time. The lunch was also in the most beautiful restaurant. I would highly recommend this tour!
• Submitted 15 Jul 2018
Loved governs, plenty of time to w K around, lunch a delight outside in a wonderful setting, Versailles was awesome, and not too long.
• Submitted 12 Jul 2018
It was a great trip with lots to see at Monet's house and the palace of Louis the 14th. Recommend it wholehearted.
• Submitted 11 Jul 2018
