The Duomo should not be missed on your tour of Florence and our tour guide was incredible. Her detailed explanation and stories gave the historic church life beyond its walls

Maria was our tour guide on this trip. She was very informative and very entertaining. We got access to exclusive areas and saw views that other couldn't. Highly recommend this tour for those that want to really experience the Duomo and learn all its secrets.

This was our third trip to Firenze but we had never done a Duomo experience. The tour was great! Our guide had architecture experience and she really gave our group insight into how the Duomo was engineered and constructed. I would highly recommend this tour. Everything was taken care of; all the entry tickets were ready for us and we skipped the long lines.

The skip the line tour is work the money. The guide was very good and was able to explina everything while allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere.

Tour led by Maria, who was exceptional. So enthusiastic and knowledgable. Skipping the queues was great but the insight into the crypt was wonderful. The terrace walk and ability to go straight up the dome made it definitely worth the money. A real highlight of the trip and cannot recommend enough.

The tour was excellent and narrated by an extremely well informed young lady who was studying for her Phd. Her name was Monica.

Our family of eight took this tour in September 2018. The tour meeting point was easy to find. We were fitted with headphones / earplugs so we could hear the guide throughout most of the tour. The views form the Terrace were outstanding and gave a great view of Florence as well as the beautiful architecture of the Duomo. The tickets also include a climb between the two layers of the dome and some close up views of the frescos on the ceiling. The climb is well worth the effort, especially when you pop out at the Cupola and see the 360 degree view of Florence. Note that if you are claustrophobic or terrified of heights, this might not be for you. Our tour also included our tickets which allowed us reentry into the Duomo, the Museum and Baptistry. Good job, Ciaoflorence Tours and Travels!

The tour was very informative and not too long. The kids enjoyed the stair climb. People were very friendly. The meeting spot was not easy to find and no place to wait while everyone was checking in

Fantastic tour with a super friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. We did this on our honeymoon and were super happy with it. If you do it, go to the very top!! It's worth the views and the pictures!

This tour was definitely worth it since you skip the lines and go straight in. Really good guide with easy to understand accent and full of knowledge. I was fine climbing the 633 steps to the top but I am terrified of heights so when I got there I just hugged the wall and took the first seat on the bench and just looked mostly straight out. I pointed the camera out towards what I wanted to capture and got some ok shots.

This Duomo is the site to see when visiting Florence and if you do not have a STL ticket you will be waiting for hours to get inside. I was surprised that their are archeological remains of the previous Basilica under the current one and this booking includes entrance into this lower level. It is incredible to see this newly opened 2014 area that dates back to the 1st century and includes an area where the original altar of the 1st cathedral was built. The current cathedral is much plainer inside than you will be use to seeing if you have been inside the cathedrals and basilicas in Rome, but that is what makes it standout from the others. This tour also offered entrance up to the terraces that run along the one side of the cathedral that gives you a wonderful view of the northeast side of Florence. The stairwell to this level is stable and easy to navigate. This ticket also included the stairwell to the top of the Cupola which was sold out for the public for that day- but I opted out of this as we were running close to closing time at Santa Croce and we wanted to visit there. If you have the leg strength and stamina the pictures I've seen online make it well worth the trek since it will give you a 360 degree view of Florence and it's highest peak. Must do in Florence!!

This tour was awesome! You get to go to areas inside the ropes that the regular tours dont. The terrace walk was fantastic! Worth the extra money.

Absolutely Fabulous!

Knowledgeable tour and great history lessons. Awesome to climb up to the terraces.
• Submitted 18 Feb 2018
This was a wonderful tour with many great insights shared by our guid Paulo. We enjoyed the VIP access to the terrace and skip the line was worth it in February. The tour takes you around the exterior of the complex to learn about all the various symbols into the basement to learn more about the various buildings contrastive onsite then into the chapel and finally up to the hidden terrace. The tour concludes at this level so you are 1/2 way to the cupola and your ticket allows you to continue up with no wait in line. Recommend this tour
