“
We purchased the three day pass and made full use of it moving all around the city. The narration was helpful ( and available in 8 languages). The buses ran about every 20-30 minutes and we never had to wait long. This was an economical way to travel.”

“
After this you will know locations and you will have a better understanding of the city.During 24 hours you will stop take pictures, take your time and then you walk to the bus stop and ride again to the next locations. It is great!”

“
Money well spent. The bus does the tour of the various attractions in Rome and we got our ticket to cover 48 hours so hopped on and off for 2 whole days. Brilliant. The buses are frequent so not long to wait until one comes along. The audio guide on board is also very good and talks you through various landmarks and points of interest. This is the second time we have purchased hop on hop off bus, first in Amsterdam and second in Rome. Definitely a good way to see the cities.”

“
Unfortunately, we were pressed for time, so did not “hop off.” But, the tour was amazing. I could spend a week in Roma and not have nearly enough time to see all I want to see. This is a great and inexpensive way to get a “Taste of Roma” and plan your future adventures there.”

“
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. You can buy the tickets cheaper n the bus and they are 1/2 price after 1:00. This is a rip off.”

“
Very convenient way of learning about the major tourist spots in Rome. Friendly drivers and tour bus operators. Run times are frequent so there is no long waiting at the bus stop.”

“
We have visited Rome on 2 occasions and have used this Hop on Hop off bus on both occasions, it is both great value for money and makes getting around Rome to visit all the main attractions easy. The information from the recorded commentary is very informative and the bus stops are very convenient for the attractions. We would highly recommend this tour.”

“
We have learned that the red bus tours in most cities are the very first thing to do when starting out. Buy a multi-day ticket- save money and your feet. In Rome they can get you near all the major sites and taking the tour first- 1-1/2 to 2 hours depending on traffic will give you layout of city.
Audio information is also good background.
PS- these buses DO NOT go on Vatican side of River- but drop off puts you in walking distance.”

“
Hop-On Hop-Off bus tours are the best way to see the city at a glance and hear about the history of the town you are visiting. My husband and I try to do these tours whenever possible. If you purchase ahead of time just be sure you can get on at any stop. Sometimes you have to go to the office to exchange your voucher.”

“
We had an overnight flight from Philly to Rome so we were pretty tired. The hop on, hop off bus was perfect because it allowed us to get our bearings while recuperating from the long flight. Definitely recommend this tour.”

“
Great way to see the best of Rome. Stops easy to find and buses regularly which was lucky because it was extremely busy (only downside was having to wait for a few buses to come so you could get on but the locations are great so plenty to see while you wait).”

“
Excellent able to get on and off to see all we wanted easy to find bus stops...commentary was very good”

“
I can't complain about anything. I had really good experience, yes some seats didn't work well the audio guide but I keep switching between English and Spanish and that works for me. I get to see the most iconic places in a short time. I wish I had more time to check around more. I loved it in Rome.”

see everything in 2 hours. relaxing and very good tour. the highlights and stops were well made. its like rome in a nutshell.”

“
Absolutely not worth the money. Short route, bad audio - not synced with what you were seeing, no fans on board and terrible heat. Some top decks had no roof. If you loved hop on/off in London, NYC or Paris. prepare for a let down on this option.”

My wife and I were impressed with the Viator staff professionalism in handling our Rome vacation experience. I recommend them for being able to handle unforseen occurrences that can adversely affect your vacation plans.”

“
We needed transportation besides taxi. The hop on, hop off bus picked us up near the Vatican and took us to the Spanish steps. We also when by their office near the Vatican and picked up our coliseum tickets. After a separate tour of the Baths we hopped on the bus to save us a long walk and rode it to the tomb of the unknown soldier, from there it was a short walk to the coliseum. At the end of a long day, we rode it back to our hotel. Worked out great.”
