Worth it!! Gained a lot of insight and was able to see more things since we were not waiting in line all day.

This is a great tour. The guide, Jo, was excellent. She was knowledgeable and friendly and very accommodating to my wife who had some problems with the walking. It’s a lot of walking and quite a few stairs both up and down.

Our guide was Nicola and he brought us all the main aspects of the Coliseum and the Roman Forum! If you want to understand Ancient Rome it is a MUST tour!

This was the best tour with the best tour guide I have had in Italy ever...LAURA! She did an amazing job providing narrative as we went through the sites. So thorough, patient, and helpful! There is no way to adequately describe the beauty and cruelty of these will feel a slew of emotions. Take the time to sit on Palatine Hill and soak it all in.

This tour walked us through the outer structure of the Colosseum and then took us into the inner arena. The tour guide was incredible. Passionate and educated in Roman history, she shared a tremendous amount of historical information, stories and facts. The walking tour went through all levels of the structure, except the 'floor' which you could see just fine from our vantage points around the location. Walking into the forum was a walk through ancient history. Stunning! The structures and ruins were entertainingly explained and elaborated on by our expert guide. I didn't want this one to end! I could've listened all day. It was terrific! Viator is the BEST! The tours are well organized and worth the price on almost every level.

We learned so much about ancient Rome on this tour. The guide was extremely informative. The tour was well paced. Very glad we went in November though as summer would have been difficult with all of the walking in the heat.

the guide was there on time, and kept us informed for nearly four hours! that may sound a long time, but he was so knowledgeable and interesting that the time flew by. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Our tour guide was excellent. He was very friendly and had full of knowledge. Last time I went for the tour was 12 years ago with a different company but the guide had such a strong accent that we all had a hard time understanding what he was saying, but our guide this time was very good and we've enjoyed the tour.

Even if you have visited the Colosseum before, this trip is still worth it. Our guides shared so much information and this trip let us see the underground of the arena as well as the top level- where the views were amazing.

This is not a TOUR, but the skip the line entrance to the Colosseum. Easy process, meet the guide on the metro station, head to the Colosseum. The guide will give some brief information and leave you for one hour to explore. Then you will meet the guide again so you can enter the Forum area without lines as well. Great deal. Recommended.

Well worth the money. Painless meet up and entry., Excellent guide, Patrick, who was very informative, pleasant, funny and moved along at at nice pace. Definitely got more out of it than doing my own thing.

This was literally the best tour we have ever been on. The tour guide (Amil) was amazing. She knew so many facts and had a great delivery. She was very comfortable with the group and the sites were not to be missed. We thoroughly enjoyed it and it was totally worth the money.

Our tour guide was very informative and attentive to the whole group.I really enjoyed seeing the drawings that she had of how things actually looked like in the past.

This tour guide was fabulous. Have to do this with a guide. Information was amazing. Loved everything about it. Took a later afternoon tour. Sun was hot and crowded even in October. Would suggest early morning, maybe even less crowded. Can’t imagine, it only took 8 years to build etc. etc. Viator great job on this one.

"Skip the Line" is a must to see the Colosseum and Forum in Rome. The general admission lines looked to be about 2 hours long as admission to the Colosseum is limited to 3,000 visitors at a time. Still, it took us about an hour waiting in line to get through the security screening and into the Colosseum. First, leave extra time to get to the starting point of the tour which was the Colosseo Metro stop. The station was closed the day of our tour and the tour operator sent a couple of texts after we left the U.S. which I never got because of not having cell service in Europe. Why did they not also send the starting point changes via e-mail? Eventually, we located our tour among the many gathered outiside the Metro entrance. A couple of U.S. tourists missed the tour after going looking in the wrong direction. Our guide, "Mariela," got us settled in and made the hour-long wait enjoyable by telling us about the Colosseum's history and lots of tidbits about Roman life and culture. She expertly moved us around other tour groups all the while narrating and informing. I've done historic walking tours in the U.S. and I could never have kept going for three hours as our guide did while being unfailingly friendly while shepherding a large group (25+) through hot and often crowded conditions. Our tour concluded in the Forum area which is huge. My wife and I spent a couple more hours roaming there and then had lunch in a nearby area recommended by Mariella. This tour is well worth the money in terms of not waiting for hours for entry and having the services of an expert guide.
