Had a nice time, good and informative driver, and a tasty "business lunch" at a restaurant on the monastery grounds. The visit to Kaunas was definitely a highlight.

Excellent tour, nevertheless we had to make some changes to the itinerary due to the needs of one of the participants. Our guide, Jurata, was an excellent guide and extremely sympathetic as well as very flexible that she adjusted quickly the itinerary in order to make happy everyone. As a result, we had even a better tour, during which we visited additionally Trakai.

Despite the weather, we were able to adapt and have a wonderful day walking around Kaunas, the Pazaislis Monastery, and made an audible to see St. Peter's and Paul's Church instead of Rumiskes due to the icy weather. We walked around Kaunas whose sights included seeing the outside of Kaunas Castle, the Christmas market in the main square, riverbank, and churches. Then, we went to Pazaislis Monastery the largest monastery in Lithuania. The grounds are interesting and chapel just beautiful! We ate at the monastery and it was one of the best meals I ever ate!! The duck fillets combined with the fruits brought out such scrumptious flavors! Rumiskes is outdoors and since I hadn't seen and wanted to see St Peter and Paul's Church, we toured that instead. Her knowledge of the Church was wonderful! I learned so much more than I would've had I just stopped in on my own!
