Flying to Nepal from the States:
The capital city of Kathmandu serves as Nepal's international transport hub. As there are no direct flights from America to Nepal the average flight time is between 19 and 22 hours depending on whether you're departing from the east or west coast. The majority of airlines will stop somewhere in the Middle East before reaching Nepal and from the east coast some of the quickest routes are with Etihad via Abu Dhabi and Qatar via Doha. From the west coast one of the fastest flight options is with China Southern Airlines via Guangzhou.
