Amedeo our tour guide made this tour a wonderful experience. He showed us the best tours that make us use all of our senses and above all an open mind. Seeing Barranco through the eyes of the locales is the best kind of adventure. Beautiful people, delicious food and above all wonderful company. Our group consisted of my siblings and each of our spouses. Amadeo was very informative and engaging and we had a wonderful driver Yohan. Thank you both for making this a memorable tour for all of us.

We loved our tour of Lima on Sunday morning - we had the best time. You get to visit the fish market, and try amazing local food. Also loved walking around Barranco, such a fun vibrant neighborhood, and you get to see all the murals. Highly recommend this tour!

This was a really great experience. It was my first day in Peru and it was made memorable and enjoyable by the guide and her knowledge and friendliness. Pickup was on time which is always a good start. Time at the market was great with really interesting tastings of different fruits. Peruvian snacks and a lunch were also given so this is a tour to go on when you are hungry!! The later part of the tour was the 'colors' part and it was gorgeous to see the street art. Pamela? was fabulous - interesting in all ways and very aware of the needs of the very small group. It was a great tour.

Tour was great!, Jimmy and the Driver were on time for pick up. The food was fantastic at the markets - don't eat breakfast as you wont be able to fit it all in. Loved it and highly recommend!

It was the best trip I have ever joined! Went to a local market and tasted traditional Peruvian dishes, including a killer fish caught in Amazon, what an experience! Our guide is knowledgeable and he seems to know all kinds of fruits and dishes.Highly recommend this your for anyone.

We had a fantastic morning learning about the food and art scene in Lima. We started at the docks and learned about the fishing industry, then went to a local market, tasted some delicious and strange fruits and finished up with a tasty meal of ceviche and chicharones de pescado. Then we went up to Barranca and walked around that beatufiul area. The guide was superb - informative, friendly, funny - and the logistics were spot on. This was the hilight of our stay in Lima.

This was a wonderful food tour and experience! Starting with pickup from our residence we traveled to 3 different areas of the city. Our guide Jonathan was very knowledgeable and helpful. He spoke both English and Spanish, what ever you needed him to. The fruit tasking at one of the markets we went to was very memorable! We tasted many fruits from Peru that we had never even heard of. I would highly recommend this tour, as I already have to a fellow traveler in Cusco!

I did this tour in January and it was fantastic. Led by guide Edgar or Edwin? who was incredibly proud of his culture and the good work his company does in supporting local indigenous Peruvians. We went to the seafront to see the daily catch and fish market and then best of all we went to a local food market in a suburb of Lima most tourists wouldn't know about and stuffed ourselves silly with all kinds of local food and drink you won't get in hotels. Terrific!

Great tour with a unique approach. We loved the opportunity to see the local neighborhoods and taste the local foods. We had already taken an all-encompassing highlights tour of Lima, so this was the perfect addition to really get a sense of how the people live and go on with their daily lives. Jean Paul is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, you cannot come away from this without feeling like you are a welcome and honored visitor in Lima. Thanks for the memories!

We had a great time and it was easiest tour for us as we were picked up right at our hotel. My group was the only one on the tour so we had a really great experience. Nathaly was very knowledgably about Peru and was great to visit Lima with!

A terrific introduction to some of the local areas of Lima well worth the price. Our guide, Jean Paul, was outstanding - easy to understand and a treasure trove of information on Lima and Peru in general. The included snack turned out to be a full lunch, all delicious.

Our tour guide Jimmy was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about Peru and Lima. His tour was entertaining and I loved trying all of the different types of fruits. A tip, don't eat breakfast! There's plenty of interesting food to fill you up!

Our guide was very informative and we learned a lot about local customs and food - definitely one of the more interesting tours - the group has a very good cause they support and I would love to make an additional donation

Part Bohemian, part artsy, with local fish market flavors. Our fresh seafood meal in the shanty town farmer's market was delicious. You also get a taste of street food, different fruits, mix with the locals--this is a tour for tourists but with a non-tourist flavor. Here you can mix with the local residents. Nathaly our guide went above and beyond to enrich our experience. This was a fun tour!

I would highly recommend this tour if you're interested in learning more about Lima and experiencing the excitement and delicious food of Chorrillos and the incredible art and views in Barranco. Jean Paul was very informative and made the tour worthwhile. Jorge was also very informative, and the two of them provided a great experience.

The tours that I took with Haku were my favorite! The guides were amazing and added to the whole experience. Their cultural knowledge of Peru was a wonderful addition. I felt I what I learned will go with me forever. After traveling through the market and tasting food I was beyond full. This is something that I would recommend for anyone who wants to explore and learn.

This tour, I would highly recommend. Our tour guide Jean Paul was excellent! So passionate about his country and it's people, a very enthusiastic young man. He brought us to the markets and we tried many local fruits native to Peru. Had a scrumptious lunch inside the market in one of their small local restaurants.I was a bit worried about hygiene etc, but the food was fresh and clean and so tasty. Chorrillos fish town and Barranco was amazing! We visited places we never would have, if we were on our own. We finished off at a rooftop restaurant with views of the ocean and had some drinks. Had an amazing time! A must do! :

Excellent experience - highly recommended. We took a 'Tastes and Colours' tour of Lima which gave us a totally different perspective of the city. I hadn't bonded with Lima in any way until this tour - now I understand the city and it's attraction a lot better. We saw trendy, artistic Barranco and visited the fish markets . We went on to see the street markets in Corrillos, sampled the fruit and had a fish lunch there in a local place. Really vibrant, authentic and friendly - loved it. Our guide was Natalie who was brilliant - perfect English and filled with infectious enthusiasm . We were collected promptly from our hotel and returned just over 3 hours later fed , watered and informed. I love the fact that the company supports and works with the local community. I cannot recommend this tour and this company highly enough

We took this tour on our first day in Lima and had a wonderful time. Interesting places with a lot of history, beautiful food, nice coffee, markets, fishermen, fascinating murals, etc. Our tour guide Natali was great as was Pamela, tour guide in training. Highly recommended!

While in the Miraflores area of Lima for two days we went on the Colors and Flavors walking/food tour and were absolutely thrilled with our experience! Our wonderful guide, Jimmy, took us to the Chorrillos District fish market where the fisherman sold their catch to local chefs and to the Chorrillos Mercado, where street vendors sold to the locals. We were the ONLY non-Peruvians at both of the these places, and we would never have found them ourselves. As we walked through the crowded stands, Jimmy had us taste Peruvian foods from the street carts and produce stands we had one of our most memorable meals there: fried local fish, ceviche, and paella! I highly recommend this tour looking back on our 2 weeks in Peru, which included hiking the Inka Trail, and going to the Amazon, our walking tour with Jimmy, ranked right up there with these memorable experiences.
