I had a 15 hour layover in Zurich and this was the perfect way to spend the day!!! A great overview of city, mountains and medieval village.

We had a day to use before flying to Hong Kong and this tour gave us an opportunity to see all sectors of the city. The afternoon visit to the Rhine Falls and Stein am Rhein was both interesting and lovely to see. Our tour guide was excellent and very informative.

We skipped the boat ride and walked to all of the overlooks. Very much enjoyed the stops. The only issue on the trip was that the ac on the bus wasnt working well. And it was in the 90s. The coach ride got uncomfortably hot.

This trip is very amazing. Rudolph the tour guide was super awesome, his narration of facts and info about Zurich and Switzerland made us very more curious. The place we visited are very rich in culture, stories and trivia which is mind blowing. The Rhine Falls experience was awesome too. Definitely another trip would be great!

We enjoyed this one day tour very much. We joined Gate 1 Travel the next day for 10 days tour of Switzerland. We are glad that we went to the Fall which was not included in the 10 days tour. It was amazing.

Please note this is a two-part excursion with Best of Switzerland Tours. Our first guide, Daniel, took us on a 2.5 hour double-decker bus ride around Zurich and told us of the history of the old and new parts of the down. He was very polite and knowledgeable. After city tour, we had a one hour break. Rather than walk to the train station 5 minutes away we ate at the Starbucks across the street from the bus depot where the tours start for the free wi-fi :-. After lunch, we boarded a different bus with Monika to head to Rhine Falls. We were allowed 1.5 hours to walk down to the falls. The boats that go directly to the falls was an extra charge I think 10 CHF. The falls were amazing and powerful! Then we headed to Stein Am Rhein where Monika provided us with a short walking tour of this small village. We were allowed approximately 30 minutes to view on our own. We then headed back to the Zurich bus depot. Both buses were air-conditioned and comfortable.

Great tour, Great guide

Great overview of Zurich which really isn't much as a city unless you are into private banking, FIFA HQ and insurance companies. Rhine Falls is spectacular, but a word of caution for seniors. It is a bit of a hike up the steps after the boat ride. Stein am Rhein has beautiful buildings with some time for you to do some quick shopping or a quick bite.

Great way to see Zurich town and Rhine falls boat trip was memorable experience. The coach station pick up is opposite central rail station
• Submitted 31 Jul 2016
Wonderful! Robert, our guide, was very helpful. Trip to Stein am Rhein was beautiful. There was an open market that day, so it was even better.

We’re total NOT ENJOYING the city tour at all. After the whole tour, We still didn’t know much about the city. Waking the old town less than 10 min. After the walking, What We know about this part of town is NOTHING! I ask myself Why I didn’t join the Hop On - Hop Off instead?

A good trip. A medieval city, Stein on Rhine was particularly memorable. The Falls were all spectacular. I would rate the city tour as good. On the whole, a very good introduction to the beautiful city of Zurich. I would recommend that it may be followed with a walking tour of Zürich, conducted by free walking tours.

We enjoyed the informative city tour, be aware that you just have i hour before the next tour ends.luckily there are some good restaurants near by.. the Rhine falls your and the 11 century village was excellent. Best of Switzerland is an excellent tour company.

First part of trip somewhat boring as too much reference to banking and insurance firms. Also seem guide had something going on as was on cell phone very often as we walked through town. Got the feeling she couldn't wait for the tour to end so she could attend to whatever the constant calls inferred. Falls trip great as was Hans who made for an informative tour.
