Flying to Tanzania from the States:
Tanzania is approximately a 20 hour flight from the States though flight times can vary widely depending on the day of travel. There are a number of international transport hubs in Tanzania - Kilimanjaro international airport and the Julius Nyerere international airport at Dar es Salaam. There's also a domestic airport at Arusha. Which airport you need to fly in or out of will depend on your chosen tour. KLM operating on a codeshare with Delta are one of the fastest options to both Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam from New York and Los Angeles in the States.
