We had a delightful evening on the river with lovely views of the city. We especially enjoyed sitting on the upper deck listening to the jazz band. Buffet dinner was good and staff was attentive.

Steamboat Natchez Jazz Dinner Cruise was great fun. Food was delicious. Needed more handicapped accommodations for elderly visitors. Too hard for elderly person to get up and down the stairs to different decks.

A great evening something different and the food was far better than we thought. Cold on deck in November but when dining nice and cosy.

Great night, food was wonderful and so was the dixieland band on board. Food was buffet style and all you can eat both main and dessert. Marion was our waitress and she was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Tour the aengine room to se how the boat works, very Cool.

This was great fun, though our evening was cloudy with light rain, so no sunset. The jazz combo was very enjoyable and the dinner was wonderful! The photos we had seen of the dinner were not that impressive, but the buffet was quite good and had a variety of items. We would recommend asking for the 6pm seating. We boarded early, had dinner, and were out on the deck for most of the excursion down the river and back. This is a nice evening activity after a day of sightseeing.

Nice evening on the steamboat - S.S.Natchez. The band was good and supper was delicious. The only thing I would change is have the 6:00 p.m. sitting for supper, so when it ended, you could go out on deck and enjoy the evening. I would have liked just one more hour on this steamboat.

What a great experience to take an authentic steam powered paddle boat down the Mississippi River; complete with a wonderful Dixieland Jazz Band, "The Dukes of Dixieland" and a fantastic meal to top it off!! The nighttime skyline of New Orleans was very impressive and the other activities on the river were interesting to see, as well. The tour was well narrated and the onboarding and off boarding was well managed without crowding and "herding."

My husband and I chose the 7:00 pm cruise without dinner. It was great - seeing New Orleans while cruising on the Mississippi at night was wonderful. I wanted to note that while running to the dock (our previous tour got us back late), I tripped and fell on the pavement. The only persons that helped me were two officers from the Natchez - they helped me on to the boat, found a comfortable place for my husband and I to sit, brought me towels and hydrogen peroxide for my cuts and then made sure we could get off the boat first. They were wonderful and I am very grateful for their extra attention.

Nice cruise experience. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening diner cruise, scenery was great, Dixieland music was some of the best we had heard. Dinner was good and the staff did a wonderful job of talking care of everyone. Of course you can get a better meal at a restaurant, the total cruise experience was well worth it.

The evening cruise was wonderful. On the one deck we enjoyed the live entertainment. On the lower deck we we enjoyed sitting at the table listen to the waves of the water as we watched the city lights come on. The cruise was refreshing and fun.

We took the Jazz Cruise but without the dinner so I can't say how the food was but we spent the two hour cruise sitting on the upper deck at the bow, listening to great jazz and viewing the Mississippi at night.

Didn’t take the dinner option, but lovely evening, plenty of seating, cocktails were excellent. Jazz band were entertaining also.

My wife and I were celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary. We have been on river boat cruises before, but this one was very special for us. We enjoyed the dinner. The servers were very friendly and courteous. We did not tour the boat, we just wanted to be by ourselves and enjoy each other's celebration. We will probably book more cruises, but they won't be as meaningful as this one was, unless it would be our 52nd.

The evening view is just amazing. The sun, the river and the music. We got the no-dinner trip and there's a bar outside and the restrooms nearby. It's a must!

I am so glad I signed up for the dinner cruise. The weather could not have been more perfect (well, it was a little hot) and everything else was perfect too. The scenery on the water was so interesting--the dinner was lovely. First class settings, and all of the food was really, really good. I appreciated the gift store too, and picked up some charming souvenirs. I would highly recommend.

Had a great time on the Natchez. The staff was friendly, food was delicious and it was a great experience.

This was such a good buy! The boat was amazing and starts with an organist playing neat songs. I recommend eating dinner first because then you get to go upstairs to the open area and hear the amazing jazz band play live while watching the sunset. The boat also gave facts of the area before the band played. You can also do the outside part first and then eat, but given I went in summer, it make more sense to eat first and enjoy the outside as the sunset. i got amazing photos. Just check the sunset time based on when you go and arrange for dinner/outside time based on that. This was definitely worth it!
