Great way to see the city. Great value. I would start my trip on the bus. See the city and then decide what to see on your own.

Our cruise ship shuttle dropped us off very close to the Castle, so we started there. After touring the Castle the Hop-On Hop Off bus stop was right there and we handed in our pre booked tickets for the bus. It was an audio commentary but went into detail about all the stops. Great way to see the beauty and history of the City.

Good hop on hop off bus to see the old town. Different tours might take you to other areas of the city, but we didn’t investigate.

Pretty nice! Takes you to all the main stop. One tiny thing, this one driver was kinda snippy with his passengers, perhaps he was having a bad day but all in all with recommend this. Merci!

First time ever using one of these kinds of buses. It was very fun and good for getting to know our way around on our first day. Nice narration. super helpful drivers and support people as our ticket got a little screwed up when I ordered it. Loved it!

The bus was good at keeping its schedule at each stop. If you got off, visited a site and waited for another bus to pick you up, it was prompt in showing up. Best attractions in my opinion were the Holyrood Palace and the Parliament Building.

Great! It was a good orientation to a city we have never to before! Followed through the next few days by going to places we saw from the bus. Would highly recommend this tour to newcommers to Edinburgh. The other Viator tours for Edinburgh look interesting as well, we’ll have to try them too.
