Pass By: University of Oxford, University Offices 1 Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JD England

The University of Oxford is a collegiate research university in Oxford, England. There is evidence of teaching as early as 1096,[2] making it the oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world's second-oldest university in continuous operation.[2][12] It grew rapidly from 1167 when Henry II banned English students from attending the University of Paris.[2] After disputes between students and Oxford townsfolk in 1209, some academics fled north-east to Cambridge where they established what became the University of Cambridge.[13] The two 'ancient universities' are frequently jointly called 'Oxbridge'. The history and influence of the University of Oxford has made it one of the most prestigious universities in the world.

It was an excellent trip made better by the knowledge and sense of humour of the guide. The pre-boarding procedures were professional and efficient.. A lot was seen in one day and yet the pace was relaxed. Would definitely recommend doing the tour.

Our tour guide Emily was the sweetest, she was so helpful and kind and even had a great sense of humor. Our driver Tom was awesome, we definitely felt safe through the whole tour bus ride. The architecture you see on this trip is jaw-droppingly beautiful. You definitely get a nice taste of each location for the day trip!

Not only did I pick the lovelest tour out of London but the company had great people that made the whole difference. Debra was incredible. The facts and she told were great.she took great care of us along with the bus driver. They made it a special day

Our guide, Katya, was incredible. Her knowledge of the intricate British history was profound. As former professional guides and tour company owners my wife and I were greatly impressed. Her driver navigated the countryside and motorways with professional skills second to none. Evan Evans should be proud to have such professionals in their employ. Warmest regards to all. This was a fabulous tour and our guide, Rowan, was tremendous. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Warwick Castle was very enjoyable, Stratford was fun and the place we are was recommended by our guide and was excellent, and our walking tour in Oxford was delightful.

Our tour guide's knowledge was exceptional and with his humorous remarks and genuine interest in the group making the most of the journey the tour was made worthwhile. We would highly recommend the tour, the tour group Evans and the tour guide whose name escapes me (Sunday 9 June 2019).

We did this tour on our last full day in London. We were ready to get out of town and the tour was the perfect activity for our family of 6. Sheila was our guide and Kevin the driver. Sheila was so lovely and informative. She really made the entire journey lively and fun - including the driving portion of the tour. We all learned so much and would recommend this tour highly.

Rowan and Alan were the best tour guide and bus driver! Full of historical knowledge and fun facts, they really put the icing on the cake for this trip! Warwick castle - lots of fun - Stratford-upon-Avon - quaint town with a lot of character and Oxford - such great architecture! We thoroughly enjoyed this trip!

Definitely select this tour to include WARWICK CASTLE. Stratford and Oxford were wonderful stops and the drive through the countryside was very enjoyable.

Trip went as described. It left from Victoria Bus Station, which is near the Victoria Tube station. If you want to walk high up along the towers at Warwick, do it when you first arrive, since it gets crowded later. We enjoyed seeing actors outside of Shakespeare's home perform famous scenes, near the garden. There is a nice bakery/cafe down the street for lunch in Stratford.

Long day to include the ambitious itiniary but a pleasant tour with a nice bus and a friendly and knowledgeable guide.
• Submitted 03 Jul 2019
This tour was a great overview of English country side. This day tour was well organized and it was in both English and Spanish. I did the tour solo and I had plenty of time to visit Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, and purchased souvenirs. The tour did not have any stop at the Cotswolds, but I got to see the scenic villages from the bus window. Overall, I had a great day exploring the central side of England, and I would definitely recommend this tour.

My family had an awesome experience in this day trip. In one day we managed to visit lovely postcard places in England: Warwick Castle, Stratford upon Avon and Oxford. All beautiful and fun to explore!
• Submitted 03 Jul 2019
Our experience was positive mostly due to our tour guide, Claudia, who had a plethora of interesting facts to share with a welcomed sense of humor. Even though we did not see much of the Cotswolds and the weather was less than favorable, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

This was my family's first trip to London, and the tour was a great way to see some sites outside the city. Rowan, our tour guide, was charming funny, and made the history come alive. As a Game of Thrones fan, I especially enjoyed when she explained how GoT characters were loosely based on Wars of the Roses historical figures, Lancasters and Yorks (Lannisters and Starks).Warwick Castle was so impressive. Stratford-upon-Avon was lovely - I just wish it hadn't been pouring rain at the time! It was still fun to explore the quaint little shops and enjoy creamed tea with scones. This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our first visit to the UK. Highly recommend!

Wonderful day trip to the castle, Shakespeare's birthplace and Oxford University. The Cotswolds are a drive-through while on the bus.
