A great way to experience a sample of the street food in Ho Chi Minh City. The guide was very helpful and took care that only safe food is consumed

Bic was an excellent walking street food tour guide. We experienced great food, the crazy traffic, the wonderful city of Ho Chi Minh, and great company on this tour. Bic was fun, patient, very knowledgeable, energetic, and lovely to be around. It rained on us for about 30 mins and I thought that was going to ruin the tour; however, Bic did not allow the rain to stop us experiencing the greatness of Ho Chi Minh City. Thank you very much Bic.

We had the good fortune to have Bic as our guide, she was friendly, informative and really looked after is, in a word delightful. There was a good variety of tasty food (you won’t go hungry), I’m now addicted to the iced coffee and the Saigon Beer’s pretty good too. All in all a great night

Let me start by saying that my husband and I LOVE food tours. The Ho Chi Minh City Street Food Tour was no exception. Our tour guide, Tan, led us into food stalls and restaurants that were clearly reserved for locals. We enjoyed duck, Vietnamese coffee, taro and eggs, BBQ, Saigon Beer and more over the course of this 2.5-hour tour. Yum! If you love food as much as we do, take this tour and make your stomach happy.

Excellent street food tour and an excellent tour guide in Tan! Tan was very knowledgeable and shared with us a lot of history lessons about Ho Chi Minh vs Saigon as well as local knowledge such as places to eat, the lifestyle of the people, and the nuances of everyday local life. The food you'll have on this tour won't be the generic ones such as pho or banh mi. As a result of that, we were truly impressed by the variation of the food as it was a good change of pace from several prior days of pho and banh mi. Please find below some notes: Do be informed that it is a walking tour with a considerable amount of walking. We were fine with it and found it to be very helpful to us as it lessened the guilt from eating too much. Do be informed that most of these street food vendors aren't in spotless clean dining areas but in the streets beside the road literally on the pavement where it may be perceived to be unhygienic and dirty. If you may have a problem with that then this is definitely not for you. We were fine with it as it gave us insight into the locals' way of life. Do be prepared to be super full from eating a wide variety of food. Do be prepared to gain valuable knowledge about Vietnam in many aspects. Do be prepared to learn how to drink your coffee the Vietnamese way as opposed to the Starbucks way. The night ended on a high note and our tour guide Tan was also kind enough to let us know to only use VinaSun taxis to find our way back to the hotel. Thanks a lot to Tan for making the whole experience a positive one for us.

Awesome! Awesome Tour! Good Food, Great Tour Guide, Great Group of People. It rained at the beginning, but the tour guide offered ponchos, which was great. Keep close to the tour guide, with a lot of motorbikes and traffic, you don't want to get run over. Highly Recommend!

Tãn was a fantastic guide and a wonderful storyteller. This was one of the best food tours I've taken.

We really enjoyed our street food tour with our knowledgeable guide Quinny. We went to places that we wouldn't have visited on our own and ordered food that we didn't even know existed! My wife and I and our two children 10 and 12 yrs had a great evening and can really recommend this tour.

This was a really excellent tour that showed us a side of Ho Chi Minh that we would never have seen without it. We got to eat authentic Vietnamese street food and our guide told us about all of it in detail. Hard to choose which was the best food, but probably the BBQ pork or the grilled bananas would take it for us. Really good fun highly recommended!

I would recommend this tour for anyone who likes to eat and to get to know a city up close and personal. Our tour guide was well educated, shared freely of her knowledge of food and the city, and took very good care of us. The pace of the tour was perfect and we got to sample a variety of foods.

Brilliant tour round a small part of Hoi Chi Minh with the lovely Queenie. She was very knowledgeable about the local area and found 5 great street food experiences as well as explaining the culture of the Vietnamese people. It was a facinating experience and set us up to explore Ho Chi Minh in more detail.

Great tour with Tan. Lots of great food. And i mean lots. 8 different courses. One is coffee. Tan tells a lot about the city and about when the americans left. Not a good time for the vietnamese from saigon who stayed. Again as with other foodtours many places i would never have found. Excelent food

Do this tour! Queenie was an awesome guide and we definitely got a taste of real street food on real streets - some family stalls dating back generations. The food and atmosphere were great and I probably never would have tried it before going on the tour. We had so many courses of such delicious food it was hard to finish it all. Excellent!!!

We have done this tour with an other company a few years ago which was brilliant, but this tour took us really off the beaten track. The places we visited were not there just to cater for us. Also the guide we had Tina was a little gem, so full of enthusiasm for her food and colture.
• Submitted 07 Mar 2018
A very knowledgeable, friendly and polite tour guide. Queenie was absolutely wonderful, a great conversationist and took us to multiple local haunts to indulge in only the finest local cuisines. Places that the new and regular tourist would not have a clue existed. She was extremely hospitable.
