The Promoter

This Competition is organised and promoted by Go Travelling Ltd t/a On The Go Tours (the "Promoter") of 68 North End Road, West Kensington, London W14 9EP.

The Competition

The title of the competition is 'What's Your World Wonder?'.

Win a holiday for two to visit one of the seven official New World Wonders and honorary eighth, the ancient Pyramids by submitting your own photo of a place you consider to be your world wonder and providing a brief description of why that location is your world wonder.

Competition Dates

The competition will run from 14:00 GMT on 30th November 2018 (the "Opening Date") to 17:00 GMT on 25th March 2019 (the "Closing Date"). All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 16:59 GMT on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

Registering & Entering the Competition

To enter the Competition you (the “Entrant”) need to:
(a) complete the entry form which can be found at;
(b) select an original photo (the photo must be taken by you and you must be the sole owner of all copyright to that photo) of a site or natural feature that you deem to be your 'world wonder';
(c) write a small piece of text explaining why you have chosen this site or natural feature as your 'world wonder';
(d) choose from one of the eight Prizes available to win, on the entry form;
(e) upload the entry form, photograph and accompanying text, along with your first name, last name and e-mail address.

No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the website.

All Entrants confirm their acceptance of these terms and conditions by Entering the Competition. Entrants may opt-in whether they want or not to receive further marketing communications from the Promoter.

The Promoter will not accept:
(a) responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind;
(b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.


The Competition is open to residents of all countries aged 18 years or over, except:

  • employees of the Promoter;
  • employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration;
  • members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.

The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:

  • automatically generated by computer;
  • completed by third parties or in bulk;
  • illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
  • photocopies and not original photographs
  • incomplete

There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

Competition entries cannot be returned.

The Prize

You enter the Competition as an individual, but the prize for the winner is one of eight holidays for two people provided by provided by Go Travelling Ltd t/a On The Go Tours ("The Prize"). As there are eight prizes, there will be eight winners of the competition (the "Winners"). The choice of prizes are:

The holidays available to win include accommodation, guided sightseeing, relevant transfers and transportation, and some meals (further details will be provided alongside the choice of holidays from which the Winners can select) and must be arranged so that the date of travel is no later than 30th June 2020.

*Please Note: The Way to Rio holiday is a private tour that can depart on any day of the year excluding the following blackout dates: Rio Carnival (21st to 29th February 2020), Holy Week (14th to 20th April 2019 and 5th to 11th April 2020) and New Year (31st December 2019 to 1st January 2020). This particular Prize is based on three star accommodation. No changes can be made to this Prize itinerary. A private tour means the Winner of this Prize will not be travelling with a group and there are no set departure dates. All included sightseeing provided as part of this particular Prize is provided on a shared basis, however.

The holidays do not include international flights, tourist visas, vaccinations and travel insurance required to travel to the countries detailed in the Prize. Any other expenditure items not detailed within these Terms and Conditions will be the responsibility of the Winners.

If you are a Winner, you will be responsible for ensuring that you and any person travelling with you are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents for the holiday in question on the travel dates specified.

If a Prize is unavailable, the Promoter may offer a suitable alternative and have no liability to the prize winner for any change. Each Prize shall be on the basis, board and inclusions as stated in the then applicable Trip Notes located on the Promoter's website or as otherwise informed to the prize winner. Prizes are based upon availability and certain reasonable travel restrictions such as holiday "black-out" dates or other periods as such as applied from time-to-time by the Promoter. Dates of travel are subject to change at the Promoter's sole discretion.

The Winners agree at the time of confirming each Prize they shall acknowledge and accept the Promoter's then prevailing booking terms and conditions for the trip provided. The Winners will be responsible for ensuring that you and any person travelling with you are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents for the holiday in question on the chosen travel dates. Dates once notified to the Promoter cannot be changed.

There is no cash alternative for the Prize.

Judging the Competition and The Finalists

The competition entries will be judged by a panel of two judges from Flying the Nest, professional vloggers and Instagram influencers. The decision of the panel of judges (acting reasonably) will be final.

The Promoter will send the full names of the judges to anyone who writes within one month after the Closing Date of the competition requesting details of the judges and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to the address set out at the top of these Terms and Conditions.

The winner of the competition will be announced on the competition website, our Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter on [ DATE ].

The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.

The decision of the panel of judges is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

Claiming the Prize

If you are a Winner of the Prize, you will have 7 days from receipt of the e-mail confirming that you have won the Prize, to claim the Prize by confirming in writing that you accept the prize. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid.

The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 7 of days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

In addition, winners will be requested by the Promoter to provide the Promoter with high quality and high resolution images from the holiday they won, for on-going use by the Promoter for publicity and promotional purposes.

Photograph Copyright, Ownership of Entries and Intellectual Property Rights

Photographs must not contain any material that might be considered offensive in nature for viewing in a public forum. Photographs must also not breach any copyright laws and must be the original material of the Entrants. The Promoter accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any such breach by Entrants.

All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.

By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
(a) assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
(b) waive all moral rights,
in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.

You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials including the Photograph, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry and Photograph for such purposes.

Photo Quality & Entry Guidelines

Photographs uploaded should be no more than 5MB in size and should be high quality - not blurry or pixelated. Please ensure that there are no borders/frames around your photos and that all photos are correctly oriented i.e. portrait photos are uploaded the right way up, as are landscape photos. Photos that do not comply with these guidelines may be disqualified.

In addition, photos should be representative of the site or natural feature you have selected as your world wonder. Photos of nondescript or indiscernible landscapes or locations will not be accepted as a valid entry. For example, a selfie taken in a spot that could be anywhere in the world will not be accepted.

Only one photo is allowed per entry, which means collages or montages will not be accepted. Photos with watermarks or signatures may also be disqualified.

Please note that you need to ensure that the country your photo was taken in is entered correctly on your competition entry form and is not the country that you are from or the country of the prize you are entering to win. Entries with incorrect information in this regard may be disqualified.

Finally, please note that entries with inappropriate images and written content, and entries that seek to mention or promote other organisations may be removed at the discretion of the Promoter.

Displaying your Photo & Name

Photo entries that are approved will then be displayed on our website for others to view. In addition, the country where the photo was taken, the reason why you have chosen the site/natural feature as your world wonder, as well any further comments about the photo that you entered, will be displayed. Regarding privacy, the only information displayed will be your first name and country of origin and the tour you have selected to win. Under no circumstances will the Promoter share any additional personal details provided by you when entering the Competition.

Your Privacy

Privacy for all Entrants is very important to us. No details submitted through Registration for the Competition will be shared with any third parties, apart from those mention above under "Displaying your Photos & Name" and the panel of judges who will select the Winners. The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.


If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Limitation of Liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
