Uyuni Salt Flats
Beginning in the highest capital city in the world, La Paz, we journey into the Salar de Uyuni, one of the most stunning beautiful places in Bolivia. The salar is an otherworldly vista of endless white salt flats stretching far into the distant horizon. Claimed to be the largest salt flat in the world, the vast and brilliant area covers some 10,500 square kilometres and is estimated to contain 10 billion tons of salt, reaching a depth of 10 metres at its centre.
Day 1 - La Paz
You will be picked up from your hotel in La Paz early in the morning and driven to Oruro with a guide in a 4WD.
