We loved the Giant buddha and the cable car on this day tour. Ben was our guide and the information he provided us gave meaning to what we were seeing. He was great. We both enjoyed the stop at the beach on such a beautiful day and we went wading. It was a long day but so glad you were doing the driving and organizing and not us. We enjoyed the small group size although I know that was due to the decrease in tourism due to the protests. We were in Hong Kong for a week and went everywhere with no problems from any protests.

Our guide, KC, was excellent. The addition of going to the north end and seeing the fishing village added value to the visit to the buddha and monestary. Lunch was excellent!

Jerry was our guide and he was great! Had lots of information to share and knew his stuff. Was great to see the island from someone who lived there. The Big Buddha is amazing! Something everyone should see when they are in HK. We had a really cloudy day and it was still very impressive.

Great day at Lantau Island. Spent the day on the island visiting the Buddha, the monastery, the shops and the beaches. I would highly recommend it.

A great day. Yrs you can do it yourself but we learned so much from our guide and no waiting in the heat for buses. The Buddha and monastery are amazing as is the cable car ride.

Lantau Island is a bit isolated; so going with a tour guide is key. Our guide Peter was very helpful in teaching us about the area, Hong Kong's history, and made this a great experience. The hotel pick up arrived on time, and the tour was very efficient. Perfect for people who are only in Hong Kong for a few days and want to visit an area outside of the busy city. The Big Buddha was breathtaking - great views especially with the cable car. It was really foggy when we went but we still got to enjoy the views. The vegetarian lunch was ok -- good food but I wish there were heavier options. The fishing village, temples, and Big Buddah - you definitely get your money's worth!

This was a fun day and a well-paced trip with a good balance of guided time and free time. The hotel pick-ups and transfer to the ferry were efficient and the ferry ride smooth. Once on Lantau Island, we had a chance to walk on the beach and dip our feet in the South China Sea and to explore Tai O fishing village, both on foot and by boat. The Tian Tab Buddha and the monastery were the high point and we saw the Buddha from multiple levels. We had a delicious vegetarian lunch at the monastery and then free time to explore before taking an exciting cable car ride down the mountain to the bus for drive back to Hong Kong. All in all, a relaxing and enjoyable day!

The tour group was very accommodating to change our tour date a few days 24 hours before due to flight changes and not making the original date the tour was booked. They changed it without a problem or additional cost. The tour guide Renee was very informative and we enjoyed this tour very much. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a smooth tour of Lantau island.

Easy as could be. Started with pickup from our hotel right on time Drove us to a group consolidation they had multiple vehicles picking people up simultaneously at different locations From there took us to the ferry where they had tickets already managed We reconsolidated after the ferry ride and got on the bus to drive around the island. Stop at the beach was really cool and i was surprised how vacant the beach was. The fishing village was amazing, the tour was worth for that alone The right amount of time at each location for us, with the right amount of time for shopping and seeing the sites individually. Guide was super friendly and helpful. It was a great tour overall.

Everything ran smoothly. The fishing village was interesting, and we definitely were given a close viewing of their lives. The area around the Buddha was beautiful. The meal was fantastic!! And the cable car was a memory not to be forgotten any time soon - spectacular!!

Lots of sightseeing in one day. Giant Buddha and cable car ride were most memorable highlights of tour. Vegetarian lunch was mediocre tourist fare.
