Travel Advice for Egypt
As a registered company in the United Kingdom all of our holidays to Egypt follow travel advice offered by the Foreign Office & Commonwealth (FCO). All of our trips to Egypt run along the Nile Valley stretching from Alexandria in the north to Abu Simbel in the far south. There are no travel restrictions whatsoever against travelling to these locations and so our advertised tours are operating as normal.
We do not offer trips that include travel to the Western oasis including Siwa nor to North Sinai or South Sinai as there are travel restrictions placed upon these areas. The FCO now advises against all but essential travel by air to or from Sharm el Sheikh airport. None of our group tours include Sharm el Sheikh and so our group tours remain unaffected by this latest travel alert. We will be monitoring the situation closely.
Should you be requesting tailor-made arrangements, or any holiday with us, we will only ever include arrangements that adhere to good advice offered by the FCO.
Should you wish to read more travel advice offered by the FCO for Egypt including advice on health, money, Safety and Security and entry requirements, you can do so here.
We also recommend that you check the latest travel advice from the consular in South Africa when planning your trip for insurance cover purposes.
