The best experience I’ve ever had the driver and the guide were so lovely and funny made the day amazing. Full of knowledge which was fabulous that I can take back with me and tell others. As I was travelling on my own I felt very safe and secure and they looked after me. Didn’t want the day to end and wish I had the guide and bus driver for every trip I have been on. Highly recommend.

My wife and I came to Iceland in December for my birthday and I already had an itinerary all planned out thanks to Viator. I’ve used them when we went to Paris and now Iceland and it makes everything so easy. This particular tour was AMAZING! Our guide was very knowledgeable, funny, warm, professional, and accommodating. She made sure there was never a dull moment even as we were traveling between locations. I highly recommend this tour to first timers or to anyone that wants more than just the standard excursion.

We had a great time on this tour. The Golden circle seems to be the most popular tour but this one really gives that one a run for its money! It is a very full day. The two waterfalls we saw were beautiful. The glacier and black beaches in Vik were so unique, we really enjoyed it. I would recommend buying inexpensive crampons as parts can be icy. I wish I had bought them before we went. Tips: All the tours we went on in Iceland required you be at your bus stop 30 minutes prior to your tour time. We definitely saw people who had missed their tours because they didn't understand this. So make sure you know where your tour is picking you up and what time you need to be there. If you are not one of the main stops, they may pick you up via minibus to connect with the larger bus and the larger bus will drop you at the end of the day at a more major stop where the big bus can drive. This seemed true across all the companies we used but it is good to know. The bus driver will help you pick which stop to get off at but make sure you understand the bus stop before they start dropping people off.

The weather didn't really cooperate as it rained on and off all day, but the experience was still well worth the money and effort. The pickup was on time, the driver and narrator were great, and the larger bus was very comfortable. We actually preferred the larger bus to the smaller group van. Vik with its black sand beaches is a must see.

We went on this trip on Monday 4th and we had a brilliant time Our tour guide and bus driver were excellent, local knowledge was shared as well as information on all sights. We would really recommend this tour to anyone who has a spare day, pick up and drop off were on time and the coach was comfortable. The glacier was absolutely beautiful and one of our highlights of the whole trip.

We had an incredible day with Chiara (our guide) and Lukas (our driver) - hopefully I got the spelling of their names correct! The day started out with foggy conditions and icy roads but we never worried as Lukas was a very experienced and careful driver. The weather cleared and it turned out to be a cloudless sunny day. Chiara gave us lots of great information along the way about where we were going, some great stories about Icelandic folklore and history, as well as information about today's culture and life. She was attentive to the site conditions and warned of hazards if there were any. She walked us along the trail to the glacier, took us to a lookout point above Vik to get a great view. It was an outstanding day viewing the glaciers, 2 plus waterfalls and the Black Beach. Highly recommend it and the company.

Long day on the bus travelling between the sites with so many beautiful things to see. Plenty of stops for food and toilet breaks and our guide kept us entertained with folklore tales.

My husband and I agreed that we enjoyed the day SO much, the places we visited were breathtaking and the guide DORA was SO GOOD and knowledgeable, she kept us entertained all drive long with interesting explanations about the country, geology, society, economics, management, history, legends. And I also have to explain that my husband lost his anorak on the first stop and Dora, the guide, moved all the strains she could to find it back, so another guide had found it and delivered it to us before finishing the tour. Icelanders are great and we were lucky to have amazing Dora as our tour leader. By the way the bus was NEW, clean and confortable.

Thankfully the weather was good. So many interesting things to see if you love nature but be prepared for a lot of walking. Totally worth it. The guide was ok.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was an added bonus to not only learn about the places we were visiting but also to learn about the whole country. Due to the small size of the group, we even had time to stop at the Lava Centre which was very interesting. This tour packed a lot in but we never felt rushed.

This tour was very good hitting a number of excellent sites on the south coast. Sólheimajökull and Mýrdalsjökull glaciers were amazing. The walk along the black-sand beaches of Vik and the lava cliffs were superb. Lastly, the Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls top things off! Do this tour!

What a wonderful day. We had excellent weather conditions and the trip went very smoothly. Iceland has a jagged harsh beauty about it. Well worth every cent. My only complaint would be that on this particular day trip I had no way to charge my phone while on the bus. Others I could. Think ahead. Thanks Iceland!! I will never forget.

This tour was the highlight of our week in Iceland. Walking on black sand was fascinating and witnessing two separate couples taking their marriage vows on the beach was amazing! Prepare to get wet and have some fun under the beautiful waterfalls. Overall this was a spectacular day not to be missed.
