“
This tour was the best one we did in the Florence area. The guides met us right where and when we were told they would. The group was SMALL. Only 14 or 15 of us total, with only 7 in our comfortable and clean van. The sites were CLOSE. No more than 30 minutes out of Florence, but far enough out to be in the hills and true country of the area. Our walking was absolutely MINIMAL, which was a real treat for us, considering that some of our other tours involved MILES of walking. The guide was very knowledgeable of all the sites and even participated in some of the talks at the tour sites. The olive farm and olive oil mill was well maintained and had a mix of old and new equipment and operating procedures. That made for an interesting look at the operation. The wine tasting portion of the tour was very well done, with some in a quaint tasting room that was a part of the storage area and another part in what seemed like a bottle storage area. Both settings added to the charm of the small winery location. Super views of the surrounding areas from these hilltop locations. Lastly, the meal was excellent. Served family style. Plenty of GOOD and FRESH cheeses, breads, oils, meats, and other antipasto dishes. The main course was well presented and filing. We were not rushed. We were not in a restaurant that felt over crowded, but rather in what felt like part of a family estate. Great views of the surrounding country side on the SHORT ride to and from the start point in Florence. If you want to see real Italy, and you don't want a lot of driving or walking, then this is the tour for you. We left about 10 AM and returned about 3 PM and were easily able to do the Accademia Gallery that same afternoon.”

“
Our tour guide, Guiseppe was great! When I booked the tour, I thought it would just be the 7 of us in a van which is what I wanted in case one of us got car sick as our group tends to.... When we got there, we found out we were with other people so I was upset but the wineries we visited were not far from Florence and because we were 12 people, we had a mini bus which we did better on than a van. Plus the other people we met were so much fun and made the day. First winery was 25 minutes away, then 10 minutes to a olive oil place then 10 minutes to another winery then 5 minutes to lunch and 20 back. It was all perfect. I thought we would be on the road for much longer. We had our kids with us and they had fun too.”

“
My daughter and I and a family of 5 met at the main plaza, and Matteo F. drove us to three beautiful vineyards. As we drove he explained about the Chianti region in Tuscany and also provided interesting information about each of the wineries. We finished at the last vineyard with a delightful lunch prepared by our own private chef. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you Matteo!”

“
The small-group Tuscan wine-tasting tour from Florence was delightful. Our tour guide, Olympia, was knowledgeable and personable. Her commentary during the drive and while at the 3 wineries we visited was always informative and enjoyable. The small size of the group 6 people plus the tour guide made the experience even better, as there was ample time to ask questions and interact with the tour guide. The quality of the wines tasted was excellent, as was the pacing of the tastings and the overall tour. Finally, the lunch was delicious and lots of it! in a beautiful outdoor setting on a hillside overlooking the Tuscan countryside. We highly recommend this tour and will do it again if/when we return to Florence.”

“
Daniele was a great driver and also gave a great wine tour! He explained several techniques for analyzing wine as well as proper food pairings. The vineyards that we visited were incredible and the lunch was one of the best meals we had on our entire Italy trip. Only thing was that we didn't come across the sampling of various Tuscan olive oils, but this was not a deal breaker for us. Highly recommend this one!”

“
Excellent tour guide, she was worth 5 stars. If you're looking for lots of great wine and gourmet food you may not find it here. However, the vineyard was beautiful and our guide was amazing and made the night wonderful. We were in a small group of around 8 people and we all hit it off perfectly. It made for a nice way to enjoy the culture and learn about wine. I know I'll never buy a bottle of chianti Classico without a black rooster on the label!”
