Flying to Myanmar from South Africa:
Flight times between South Africa vary between 15-19 hours depending on which city you depart from and which route you fly. Several airlines operate the route between South Africa's major cities and Yangon, the international transport hub of Myanmar, with at least one transit stop en route. From Johannesburg Singapore Airlines via Singapore is one of the fastest options and they also fly from Cape Town. Cathay Pacific is another option from Johannesburg though two stops are required, one in Hong Kong and one in Bangkok. Another great option is Emirates who fly direct from Dubai to Yangon with daily flights to Dubai available from Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.
