I wish our tour leader had collected tips for all the drivers and tour guides in advance. We were on the trip with people from New Zealand and in that country there is no tipping, so even though tipping was discussed in the trip notes, I am not sure they knew the guidelines. Another couple on the trip went with On The Go Tours to Vietnam, and they were told in advance to bring a set amount for tips and to give it to the tour leader on Day 1. The tour leader then was in charge of making sure everyone got their tip and the amount was proper.”  

Julio was amazing! He was funny, approachable, incredibly informative (but not over the top), fun to be around, thought of every need, kind, considerate, so incredibly organised (don't know how he did it), absolutely fabulous (in Brit words), he just felt like one of the tour group but the most organised, useful and essential one, honestly, he was awesome, 100 plus percent would recommend Julio to anyone doing this or any other tour, you have a gem there. ”  

IT WAS GREAT! First, thanks to Lee-Anne for her assistance and patience scheduling me into the Manchu Picchu Express tour and making sure I was prepared for the trip and answering all my questions and addressing any concerns I had. It was truly greatly appreciated. Second, the entire trip was truly unforgettable. from the moment I landed in Cusco til the moment I had my boarding card in my hand and ready to leave Cusco, I had someone from On The Go escorting me to make sure everything went smoothly. The On The Go Group Tour Guide/Manager (Julio) was amazing, the local guides (Henry and Antionette) were amazing, the sites we visited were amazing, and the drivers were also very friendly and helpful. Each day was jam packed with activity and I really felt it was money well spent.

I will definitely use On The Go for my next trip and I am already looking at your tours to decide where to go… so many choices!”  

Overall tour was excellent, the only thing I would have liked is less time spent in Lima and especially La Paz. There is so much to see in Peru and Bolivia that I felt spending 3 days in La Paz was wasted. One day was enough. It was supposed to be 4 days but thank god the flight to Cusco had changed and that meant spending less time in La Paz and another day in Cusco which is much more interesting.

Transport was good, when I went on a previous tour with your company, everytime we went on a long coach journey they supplied water. This tour didnt do that and it would have been a nice gesture to give out water whilst travelling such long distances.

The tour exceeded my expectations in every way. Bernar was a superstar! We could not have had a better guide. The hotels and transportation were much better than I had expected. Even the buses were of very high quality. The itinerary moved at a fast, but perfect pace. We got to see EVERYTHING! The travel app was AMAZING and we used it every day for weather reports, getting back to our hotels, finding restaurants, keeping up with the itinerary, etc. The hotel pins on the app gave us freedom to roam farther than we would have without it. EVERY tour company should have an app like that!

The only downside happened the night we arrived. There was no one at the airport to pick us up. We called both local 24-hour emergency lines several times but they were unanswered. I found another emergency number and it was answered by a man in the UK who said it was 3:00 AM and I had gotten him out of bed. He was not happy or helpful. Tour guides from two other companies saw us in distress and came to help us. The trip got off to a very rocky start. ”  

The tour was an excellent combination of the popular and not so popular items thanks to our guide.

The hotels were all excellent with ample room space and enough facilities for pampering, with good restaurants.

We covered all the itinerary items and even brave the weather which made it all unforgettable memories.

Overall, I enjoyed the tour. The accommodations throughout the tour were satisfactory. I especially liked the hotel in the Sacred Valley. Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion was a very pleasant stay as well. I wish we had more time to explore the area around Ollantaytambo. For the sites we visited in and around Cusco, I wished we had more time to explore each site. ”

Sebastian was very knowledgable and enthusiastic, but it would have been nice to have a bit of time on our own - particularly to have a meal together on our own in the Amazon. Jose was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Cusco and the Incas. All parts of the tour were very well organised and we felt we were in safe hands and had no problems at all.”  

Was very impressed with the organization of this trip. Darwing was great and knowledgable. The Inca trail was amazing. Our 2 guides - Ronald Ccana Sotalero and Guillermo Sana Cusi went above and beyond to make this a once in a lifetime excursion. They were excellent on the trail. The equipment, food - just everything - exceeded my expectations. If it wasn't for the guides encouragement and help I don't think my friend would have made it. Can not say enough about them and the Peruvian Sacred tour group.”  

Our tour leader, Manny Salorio, was with us every step of the way. He was compassionate, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic in going above and beyond his duties as a leader. He always shared his expertise and accompanied us on his suggested places for dinners, shopping and other activists. He made the trip very successful.

Wilson was one of the best guides I have come across during any trip. He was always helpful and gave us a lot of insights of the countries we visited. He even helped me apply for the Brazil visa as I couldn't do that in the home country. I was able to visit Brazil just because of his help.”  

The whole tour was fabulous and well organised. It started with the booking. Theo was very helpful and followed up with me many time. I was picked up at the Lima Airport by Enrique Palacios Guerra. He was very professional, helpful and had a very clean car. Each time he picked me up he was on time just as he promised even at 5:45am. He always helped me with my luggage. His driving was very professional and I felt very safe with him. Pedro met me in Lima. He was very polite and helpful. He explained how the whole tour would work and answered all my questions. He was flexible with his time which allowed me to take a city tour. I really appreciated that. Fabio was my guide in Cuzco. He was friendly and professional. He helped us find great places to eat that we would have never found on our own. He made it clear he was available to us for anything we needed at anytime of the day or night. He was always on time, happy and helpful. Santiago was my guide for the Inca Trail. He was GREAT!! He encouraged us from the start of the hike and throughout the 45 km hike. He made sure we were doing well and safe. He was great at explaining the history and meaning of each ruin. It was obvious he loved his job. The organisation of his whole team was amazing. I can't say enough good things about the 4 days spent hiking the Inca Trail. The treatment, the food and encouragement we received from Santiago, the cook and all the porters was unbelievable. Thanks to everyone involved in my trip.... Theo, Pedro, Fabio, Santiago, the cook and the 9 porters. I would highly recommend this tour. ”

Macchu Pichu was magical, hotels, tour guide was well aranged. We have opted for the train and very happy about it. But the best part was the Amazon. The Lodge, the river and the forest was beyond imagination. The rooms had all the luxury but had no windows; gave the traveller the feeling of belonging to the forest like a parrot or a puma.
