Krakow Evening Food Walking Tour

from USD $89.45
Savor the flavors of Krakow on this 2.5-hour evening walking tour with a food-loving guide. Uncover Poland’s rich culinary history and customs as you roam the Small Market Square (Mały Rynek) and Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), stopping at hidden foodie haunts to sample treats such as ‘pierogies’ (stuffed dumplings), ‘oscypek’ (smoked cheese) and hearty Krakovian soup. Try some refreshing Polish beer and finish in the buzzing, bar-filled Kazimierz district over traditional Jewish fare and a shot of crisp, clear ‘bison grass’ vodka — a near-national institution in these parts.

Our guide Olga Kwazynska was a fantastic ambassador for your company. Helpful, informative and knowledgeable.
Olga made us feel like one of the locals taking us to places we would never had seen without her.
Trying the local dishes with Olga's expert descriptions and information made the night so enjoyable.
Thank you”

“
This was SUCH a great way to spend Saturday night in Krakow! Martha (sp?) was a terrific guide-funny, personable, and full of information. She took us to so many places and we were fed so well...I was stuffed by the time we were done. I am a solo traveler, and it was a great way to meet a few people and hang out and have good conversation over delicious bites. I would definitely do this again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Krakow!”

“
We had a great food tour with Sabrina as our guide. In a group of 8
people we went to 4 venues, tried many typical Polish dishes, drank beer and vodka and had a great time. It truly seemed like a party—I loved this experience!!”

“
I have taken a lot of these food tours. They run from really great to the not so great. This was one of the really great tours. Joanna was so much fun and very interesting. We went to several restaurants all over the city having traditional polish food and a little beer. What we got were actual servings not just small samples, so go hungry!”

“
This tour is highly recommended, our guide OLGA was amazing, took us to great places, the beer was great, the food was delicious, a great mix of local cuisine, including appetizers, soups and, of course, pierogis.
We had a great time and the walk allow for the food to settle as there was very generous portions.”

“
Very happy with this tour. Starting with beer was always a plus. Mostly the food was ok but didn’t necessarily tantalise the taste buds but everyone was well and truly full before the end although we all found room for cake and vodka! Our guide Matteus was informative and passionate. He provided a greater understanding of a city and country with a fascinating history. He did so much more than just show us tradional polish fare. All round a great tour!”

“
Our guide Ulka was superb. She was so passionate about Poland, and her enthusiasm rubbed off on the small group. The best thing about this tour is that you get to go to 'real' polish restaurants and cafes and taste authentic food. You visit bars off the beaten track, hidden way, a secret almost kept by the locals to preserve the bars and make them special. We tried 3 excellent kraft beers, bread snacks, smoked cheese, 3 different soup tasters at a different traditional restaurant, and then Pierogi 5 different types including sweet/savoury and some Potato Cakes. And as if that was not enough, we had vodka shots and walnut cake in a delightful bar in Kaziemirz. Superb value for money. Our advertised 2 1/2 hour tour, ended after 4 hours!!!!!! Thanks Ulka for making it special and sharing your knowledge of Krakow with us.”

I would like to give this tour a 10 if possible! This tour was through Urban Adventures. Matthew was an exceptional guide, so knowledgeable about Krakow, the history of Poland and tied it all to the food we were eating. He was very attentive to the entire group, encouraging camaraderie throughout the tour. A MUST IN KRAKOW!”

our guide was amazing and we visited places we never would have known about thanks to her expertise, food was delicious and more than we could eat, excellent excursion!”

“
Our guide was warm and welcoming and had a lot to say about Polish foods. The only tweak I'd suggest is at the soup tasting just have the soup tasting, not a tasting to pick which one we want a whole bowl of. We would have covered more ground if we spent less time at each place.”

“
This was AMAZING! It was professionally run and incredibly fun. We were taken to off-the-road places that most tourists don't see.
We ended up with tons to eat and drink and enjoyed every minute of it.
Our guide knew a lot about Krakow, it's history, it's cuisine and it's neighborhoods.
Bravo!”

We took this tour on our first evening in Krakow with another couple that had not been to Poland before. This was the perfect venue to introduce our friends to our favorite city in the world, Pawel was a terrific tour guide. The food especially the pierogi and the soups was exceptional. Loved the different beers. We had a wonderful time, lots of fun and plenty of food.”
