Our tour guide (Catherine) was very knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and energetic. She managed to get us into each attraction (Church on the Spilled Blood, The Hermitage, Peterhof) quickly. We would never have been able to visit so many interesting places without this tour. She also found us a good and authentic place for lunch, answered lots of questions, and had many great stories about the city and its history. A great success!

Our Guide Tatiana and Driver Alexei were awesome and made our first visit to St. Petersburg a very memorable experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Six of us from the US took this ST. Petersburg Highlights Excursions lead by our tour guide Katherine. We were greeted and welcome by Katherine once we passed the St Petersburg cruise terminal passport control. This warm welcome took lots of stress and confusion away from us as none of us speak Russian. The Mercedes Benz Tour van seats about 13-14 people. It worked nicely with a small group so we all could receive help, Q and A and attention from guide. The drvier was a nice gentlemen with great driving skills. Katherine was considerate, knows the city, history and Russian culture well. She was a super star and knows all the attractions at the back of her head. I have never seen a guide with such knowledge, patience, organizational and people skills. She is a really Keeper! A big Thank You from all of us to Katherine and her excusion company.

Our cruise ship was in St Petersburg for one day only so I was a bit nervous about booking this tour due to the length of it and also the comments that you need to book with your cruise company. I didn’t need to worry though as we were picked up just outside passport control at 8.30am (90 minutes after docking) as indicated. We saw some wonderful sights with Victoria, our lovely and very informative guide, and were back at our ship by 6.15pm. It was a perfect day and a highly recommended tour.

fabulous experience and fabulous guide. we saw all of the important sights and even missed the crowds at peterhof palace. wonderful local place for lunch; time for shopping and walking in the historical areas. our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour was so very wonderfully personalized. we enjoyed it greatly.

I love this tour! Our guide Victoria was awesome and very informative. It was all that I expected except that we didn't really have time for lunch. It was a one day tour but we were only given 15 min. and by the time we went back to the cruise ship we were not only exhausted but starving as well.

Rather than taking a land tour with our cruise ship we chose Viator. It was the best decision we made and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide, Victoria, was extremely knowledgeable , caring and patient. We were about 15 adultsmostly Seniors, who were not to swift on our feet. We never had to wait to enter any of the sites, we did not have to purchase a Visa and never felt rushed. We all loved Victoria!!! I do recommend that an extra gratuity, in this case, is highly recommended

Our guide sorry I forgot his name was one of the kindest persons I met. Half way our tour, one of the couples in our tour got a text from their son who got sick at the ship. So they decided to leave the tour early. Our tour guide was so kind to assist them on the way back to the ship with the help of the tour driver they were able to go back safely and fast. But of course this incident cost our trip to be late on our itinerary. With the kindness of our tour director, he extended our tour beyond our allotted time so we can see all the places that we're supposed to visit. Our tour guide has so much knowledge with so many information he knows about this tour. He also took good care of us by frequently reminding us to be careful of our belongings. And he was so kind to pay for all of our bathroom use because none of us have Russian money to pay for the bathroom use. He is such an amazing tour guide.

It was a very good tour for the cost. Let me tell you exactly what happened. Our Cruise dropped us at morning 7 but there was a massive queue due to a computer problem in the immigration which took 2.5 hours for us to complete immigration. They were waiting for us outside. Be warned though, if you are the first person to go out and meet the tourer, then you would have potentially waited for 2.5 hours until everyone arrives for their tour our your had 14 people and we were the last but one. The tour was excellent and covers the major spot including Hermitage museum covers the entry fee as well. Our tourer Katherine alias Kat was brilliant as well. A very recommended tour.

Excellent tour and good value for money. We had Daniel as our tour guide who spoke excellent English and showed us several important spots in Saint Peterburg. I would strongly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, Katerina aka Kate was wonderful, and she made sure we saw the best sites of the city. St. Petersburg was crazy the day we went there was a school holiday celebration and the FIFA Confederations Cup that had shut down a lot of the streets in the city. Kate guided us through them all, and she even guided us through the Metro when our bus was unable to pick us up. The sites were beautiful, and if you should only have 1 day in the city like we did, it is a great way to see the highlights. I would highly recommend both the tour and our tour guide.

Excellent trip encompassing three of the top sights in Saint Petersburg with VISAS INCLUDED. Great value! Was picked up from our cruise ship without a hitch. Our guide, Kate, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about art and history. The Peterhof gardens are stunning and should not be missed. I would not recommend this tour for young children. It is a long day and the kids on our tour got tired out.

I was in Saint Petersburg the day before the trip, therefore I requested to be picked-up at my hotel instead of being picked-up at the seaport as explained in the tour. I was effectively picked-up as promised. The tour greatly exceeded my expectations. The Church of Spilled Blood, the Hermitage and Peterhof ARE A MUST if you are visiting this great city! Our guide, Kate, was awesome, she has deep knowledge of art, history, and the city tales. Looking to spend a day in Saint Petersburg? Don't go in circles, just pick this tour, and ask for Kate as your guide!

This was a very well organised tour. Our guide Kate Katherine was extremely well versed in the history of St. Petersburg and its historical sites, as well as being thoughtful and considerate of the variety of the people on the tour. Our driver, Sergei, was extremely competent and knowledgeable about the streets and erratic drivers of the city. All in all I would definitely recommend this tour.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, flexible and very informative as we toured the Hermitage, the Peterhof gardens, the Church of the Spilled Blood and everywhere that we visited.

The places visited were incredible. Valentina definitely was a great guide - definitely thought about the group and what they needed. Only issue was the crowded venues.

The tour itself was great, however VIATOR misinformed us, they said that there was no waiting whatsoever and that the tour would go ahead without anywaiting....that was B.S. we waited over one and a half houir in line, behind thousand of passengers, lining up freezing weather, it was snowing and the wind was howling 35 knts p/h, The bus did not have a toilet and the passengers were realy The blame should go toVIATOR that misguided the tour operatorupset as the wanted to go to the washrooms.

The tour itself was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The only glitch was going to customs. Our tour was suppose to start at 7:30 am. The ship was sending their people on their tours first out of the ship. By the time all the people going on our tour came through customs, it was 10:00a.m. My recommendation to the tour companies is not to start at 7:30 when their is customs involved.

We're happy with our tour guide Catherine and driver Alexander, as they're very professional. However, Viator sent us a email the day before our cruise arrive at SPB saying that the tour operator Ex-Shore exclude the Peterhof Palace entry ticket in our day trip, so we can only visit the garden! If we don't agree, we can cancel our reservation 7 days before the trip. It's so ridiculous that our ship arrive on next day and we need the tour visas to visit SPB! We'd like to make a claim to the Ex-shore Co as they didn't respect the initial program for a skip-the-line visit of Peterhof Palace.
