Fascinating into part of our recent history. Also extraordinary to consider that the same monarch had exclusive access to Britannia for the entirety of its working life

Fabulously put together. Narration was just enough. Will recommend to anyone traveling to Edinburgh.

This ship is extremely well preserved by a dedicated group of volunteers. The interior is just magnificent, the rooms well decorated, and fresh flowers all over. This is a must see if you get to Edinburgh!

Loved seeing this piece of history and it was so well presented to make it interesting to all ages. Brought back so many memories of the royal family on their tours.

Our two granddaughters first visit to Edinburgh so we took them on the Britannia and they loved it, a good 2 hours as the weather wasn't great.

We spent a couple of hours touring this magnificent ship. Seeing where the royal family spent many hours on board. It’s great to know that the galley is still used to make food for the restaurant. Where we had tea after our tour. Getting there early was well worth it as we missed the queues and were able to waunder around at our leisure.

This is the perfect tour for those wanting a peek inside the royal lifestyle. The yacht is stunning, both in design and the sheer magnitude of people needed to maintain its operations. The tour provides great insight into the Queen's daily itinerary aboard the ship, and those of the small army needed to support her. I particularly enjoyed the state dining room, solarium, and man cave. A word of note: the website states that the exhibit is open until 4:30 pm, but this is the time of last admission. As long as you arrive by that time, the staff will give you the time you need to explore the exhibit.

It's not a yacht. It's a huge ship! And what we see inside it gives an insight on the life of the Royal Family. It's pure luxury. Beautiful to the extreme! Totally worth visiting it!

If you are visiting Edinburgh then doing the Royal Yacht Britannia is a must we are. Family of 4 adults and all found this tour thoroughly enjoyable and totally interesting , on boarding the ship we were given an audio tour each which was very interesting and informative. The ship is just as it was when in service a totally brilliant 2 hours fully recommend. Also take a look at the shopping centre next door with free car parking.

The Royal Yacht made me feel like a Royal. Beautifully kept ship with gorgeous teak walkways. Every detail perfect. Rolls Royce onboard as well as a small yacht named Bloodhound for the Royals day excursions. A good history of their trips. A wonderful gift shop and afternoon tea served on deck!

My husband was in the Navy so this was supposed to be for him, but I loved it, too. The Royal Yacht gave an insight into the lives of the royals who used it. The living quarters helped me understand the understated, classic taste of the queen. The furnishings were impeckable. My husband loved seeing how the yacht ran and all the little places the crew worked. There was a wonderful game for children to hunt for how many Corgie stuffed dogs they could find. Of course, they sell them in the gift shop, but they were adorable. We had tea and felt like royals!

It was very interesting we would go again and recommend it to anyone

Loved - loved - loved this day out. My husband was not really keen on this excursion and mid way through he commented - this is great ! I think it was that this yacht had been used by the Royal family and not a replica. The tour was self guided through an audio device which meant you could go at your own pace. We stopped for afternoon tea in the dining room - as you do :- TIp - be early - the queue is very long mid morning
