“
This was a great way to see the Highlands if you don't want to be on the bus for 12 hours. This is less than 10 and we were able to see a lot of the old backwoods of Scotland. Our guide Gary was friendly and such a gentleman. He showed us as much as he could despite of the rain and cold. The town of Inveraray was very nice. We had a very good meal at the George Inn with fresh seafood.”

“
This was a wonderful trip, in spite of the weather (rainy most of the day). Paul was very informative, very helpful, and full of many interesting stories of the local history. The scenery was amazing - and my daughter especially loved being able to get up close to a "hairy coo"! The stops were timed well and we didn't feel rushed. Yes, there are a lot of stairs in the castle, but even with bad knees, I was able to enjoy the tours - but I balked at the spiral stair up to the top of Doune Castle!”

“
The trip was lovely! We traveled in a very nice luxurious and very comfortable Mercedes travel van. Our female guide made the trip! She was upbeat, funny, and told very entertaining historical stories during the lengthy rides in between the sites. It deff kept me awake and paying attention. It was raining, which changed some site seeing up a bit, but everything was just as beautiful! Such a breathtaking experience!! Would deff do again In the sunshine one day!!!”

“
This trip was outstanding and we enjoyed every minute of it. The driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. There was ample time to see each castle we stopped at and the additional side stops for photos was very much appreciated. I would go again as there was so much to see and take in!”

Great day trip! Stuart our driver and guide made our experience. He was extremely knowledgeable, factual, weaved interesting stories to the history, and upbeat! Stuart enjoys his job which overflowed to the passengers. We saw great countryside, 2 castles you could tour, other castles driven past and learned a lot about the local history. Don’t miss out!!!!”

“
Gary, our Tourguide made this trip amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and very personable and just a nice guy........listening to his accent was definitely a plus. Fell in love with Edinburgh, the highlands and the lochs! Im sure spring, summer and fall would be amazing but seeing them in January was pretty great. I would go again several times and definitely recommend anyone interested in beauty to go and feast your eyes on them.”

“
The day was dreary, but the tour was very good, and the Mark our guide provided good commentary. lots of facts and a good amount of history in during the travel time. While you must expect dreary days at least once while in Scotland, every effort was make to make sure you had time for a wander. It was a great trip and very interesting.”

“
This is the best tour I've been so far - perfectly organised and executed. I would like to highly praise our tour guide Hamish, who was driving and taking care of our comfort ,as well as narrating lots of stories with historical facts. He was also reciting verses in Celtic, which added an absolute sense of authenticity .Hamish was managing a CD with some authentic music related to the places we were visiting or passing by ,reducing the speed at interesting points and also stopping couple of times for our snap shots of the Highlands cow and at the Rest and Be Thankful. The tour covers some beautiful spots and beautiful castles
This tour will remain with me for my entire life and I am already considering to do one of the 2 or 3 day tours next year .
Scotland has now special place in my heart !
Thank you Hamish , Viatour and Timberbush Tours.

“
Doune Castle and Inveraray Castle were both really neat. We had a fair amount of time at both. Our tour guide provided great information about the sites we visited and those that we drove past as well as background info on the history of the country to help us better understand the places we were seeinng. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy most of the day, which took away from some of the great views we were hoping to see on the drive, but that's not something we could plan for.”

We had a great tour with Martin as our guide. It is a very good overview, and it allows you to see many highlights of beautiful Scotland in a short window. Martin is a great guide, and obviously loves his job and showing off his homeland.”
