One of the must see places in Hanoi. The tour guide Mr.KEN was giving timely informations and supportive in completing the trip successfully. It was a fun and amazing trip that covered Ha Long Bay, Amazing cave and TiTop island.

it was an excellent trip thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. Ha Long bay is a must for anyone staying in the North of Vietnam. The variety of boat trip, rowing boat/kayaking and cave visit were all worthy of a visit. the only small down fall was that my friend with whom i was travelling with had a pre-ordered vegetarian meal and there was a little confusion which tour party we were with and this ended up without a vegetarian meal availiable.

Our tour guide was funny and kind. He was very informative and energetic. The tour was easy, we got picked up at our hotel then dropped off at the bus. The bus was clean and it stopped half way for restroom/break. Right away, we got onto the boat and lunch was served quickly. After, we arrived at Halong Bay and it was beautiful!

Great day but spoilt by the rip off by the lady with the so called over priced not genuine pearls, jewelry etc. Be aware of the items for sale there both on and off the boats. Also warning be up to date with currency conversion from Dong and US as they tend to really over inflate the conversion. I was charged US35 for dong value of US25 and when I found out they refused to give back the diffenece

Long drive but worth it, we had a good day with great food on the boat

Great day the bay is excellent and there was lots to do and good food. Stop overs on the way were a bit long given it is a long day to do the return trip.

We loved the tour - when we got there- but we were uninformed and unprepared by the length of distance from Hanoi to Halong bay. It took 6 hours roundtrip when we thought that whole day was 8 hours long. AC in tour bus was inadequate on a hot hot day.

The scenery was perfect but the tour was far away from that. Food was only so so. All stop over places were those tourist places where you always think they want to cheat you. The caves at the end of the tour could be skipped. Nothing special.

The bay itself is quite pretty however my trip was quite overcast so we couldn't see very far. My biggest problem was the ride out to Ha Long Bay from Hanoi. It is an 8 hour round trip and the bus was extremely small. I'm only 6' but my knees were in my face the whole way to and from. If you are planning on going, find out what kind of transportation first. Additionally, don't count on good food on the boat. Everything was cold and not that good.
