The famous Seven Wonders of the Ancient World was considered a guidebook for the 1st and 2nd Century BC tourist. Unfortunately for modern travellers, those ancient wonders are gone (with the exception of the Pyramids at Giza). So we’ve made a new list.

Methodology:
Searching for the term ‘top 100 landmarks in the world’ revealed a Google list of the most popular landmarks. The top 50 landmarks from this list were then transferred into this document and the landmarks were searched for on Instagram which revealed the number of times the hashtag was used worldwide, which allowed the hashtags to be ranked from the most popular to the least. Thus revealing the most ‘Wonders of the World According to Instagram Hashtags’. All data is correct as of 4 May 2017.
