Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to Yulara

Once you have arrived in Yulara, transfer to Ayers Rock Resort where the rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish. With Uluru close by, you might visit the Cultural Centre to learn about the area's Aboriginal history and significance, or spend time relaxing around the resort.
Day 2 - Uluru Sunset Tour & Barbecue Dinner

This evening, you join a small-group sunset tour of Uluru, one of Australia's most culturally significant landmarks. Departing Ayers Rock Resort in the late afternoon, you travel to the entrance of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, watching as the monolith rises from the surrounding sand dunes.
With your guide, you walk toward the base of Uluru to the Mutitjulu Waterhole, a semi-permanent watercourse where you learn the Creation stories of Liru and Kuniya, alongside other Tjukurpa stories associated with the rock. Ancient rock art marks the site, still used today to teach young Aboriginal people.
From here, you continue to the Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area for an uninterrupted view of Uluru with Kata Tjuta visible in the distance, watching the rock's colours shift as the sun sets, with sparkling wine and light refreshments served. You then enjoy a barbecue dinner under the stars, before being returned to your accommodation.
Please note: Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park entry is required for this tour, valid for three consecutive days, at an additional cost payable directly to the National Park.
Day 3 - Free Day in Yulara

With no activities scheduled today, you have a free day to enjoy as you wish. You might consider a scenic flight over Uluru and Kata Tjuta for a different perspective, or spend time relaxing around the resort.
Day 4 - Explore Kata Tjuta & The Valley of the Winds

This afternoon, you set out for Kata Tjuta on a small-group tour timed to finish at sunset. Guided by an experienced local driver-guide, you travel by air-conditioned coach into the ancient rock domes, hearing stories that trace their formation over half a billion years.
You then follow a 5.4-kilometre trail into the Valley of the Winds, walking amongst the towering red domes as the creek beds guide your route through this striking, otherworldly landscape.
As the walk concludes, you make your way to a dune viewing platform for sweeping views over Kata Tjuta as the sun sets, before returning to Yulara after dark.
Please note: This walk is rated a more demanding level of fitness, with sturdy enclosed walking shoes, sun protection and at least 2 litres of water recommended.
Please note: Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park entry is required for this tour, at an additional cost and not included in the touring price.
Day 5 - Farewell Yulara
This morning, the tour comes to an end. Make your own way to Ayers Rock Airport for your onward flight.
