Itinerary
Day 1 - Buzios Walking Tour, Beaches & Nightlife

We collect you from your hotel in Rio and drive for about three hours to Buzios, crossing the famous Rio–Niteroi Bridge and travelling through the scenic Lakes Region. Along the way, our knowledgeable guide shares insights into the area and outlines what to expect over the next two days.
On arrival at our centrally located accommodation, we set out on a guided walking tour of Buzios’ town centre. We explore the main streets and the seafront Orla Bardot – lined with restaurants and Brazilian and international shops – and pass studios where local artists sell unique pieces.
We then break for a typical lunch (at own cost) before spending time on the beach. We head to Azeda Beach – reached via a cobbled lane and wooden steps – a small, charming cove with calm, clear water.
Later, we return to the hotel to relax before meeting again in the evening. As the sun sets, we explore Buzios’ nightlife – starting at bars popular for cold drinks and snacks – then continue to Pedras St, the town’s main gastronomic hub with live music and a lively crowd. You can settle in with a drink, people watch and enjoy the international atmosphere.
Day 2 - Explore Arraial do Cabo & Return to Rio de Janeiro

After breakfast at the hotel, we drive around 40 minutes to Arraial do Cabo and board a boat to explore its islands and beaches on a four hour cruise. We make several stops – on average about 45 minutes at each – giving ample time to enjoy the settings and take in the coastal scenery from the water. During the stops you can swim, snorkel, try stand up paddle or simply relax in the clear water. Keep an eye on the sea as we cruise – dolphins, turtles and rays are occasionally seen here, and, with luck, even orcas.
We visit Praia do Farol, recognised for its clear water, fine white sand and striking landscape. We also take in Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia – reached by a staircase with sweeping views over white sand, the colourful sea and the green slopes of neighbouring Ilha do Farol. The route includes the Blue Grotto, a dramatic rock formation on the open sea stretch where vivid water tones and Atlantic swells meet the cliffs.
After the cruise, we stroll through central Arraial do Cabo along a lively strip of restaurants, bars and craft shops, and stop for lunch if you wish to sample typical Brazilian cuisine. Afterwards, you can browse for souvenirs or enjoy beach time at Praia do Forno – a scenic cove with colourful water and a strip of white sand backed by lush vegetation. It is a popular place for snorkelling and you may spot turtles – there is even an oyster farm there – and the water here is not among the coldest in Arraial do Cabo.
In the late afternoon we return to Rio de Janeiro and drop you at your hotel or the airport – wherever you need to be.
