Day 1 - Arrival in Vancouver
Once you have arrived at Vancouver International Airport, make your own way to your downtown hotel, where the tour begins. The rest of the day is yours - a good chance to explore the harbourfront or find somewhere local for dinner.
Please note: this itinerary is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or unexpected closures.
Day 2 - Vancouver to Kelowna
Vancouver - Fraser Valley - Kelowna. After breakfast at our hotel, we travel through the Fraser Valley and over the Coquihalla Pass, arriving in Kelowna, the heart of British Columbia's wine country. In the afternoon, we visit a local winery for a guided tour and tasting. The rest of the afternoon is free - a good opportunity to wander the lakefront promenade and marina.
Day 3 - Kelowna to Golden
Kelowna - Revelstoke - Glacier National Park - Golden. This morning, we depart Kelowna and stop in Revelstoke to take in the mountain views. We continue along a scenic drive through Glacier National Park and Rogers Pass before arriving in Golden, where we visit the Golden Skybridge. After checking in to our hotel, the evening is yours - perhaps explore the town centre or relax before dinner.
Day 4 - Golden to Lake Louise
Golden - Yoho National Park - Lake Louise. Today, we travel through Yoho National Park, stopping at Emerald Lake and the Natural Bridge, weather permitting. From here, we continue to Lake Louise, where the afternoon is free - a good chance to wander the lakeshore or enjoy afternoon tea with a view. Depending on the season, we also visit Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks.
Please note: Moraine Lake is only accessible during the summer season, typically from June 1 to October 12, and this window is weather dependent. Access may close earlier than planned if snow arrives early in the area, so this visit may not be possible outside these dates.
Day 5 - Icefields Parkway to Banff
Lake Louise - Icefields Parkway - Banff. We leave Lake Louise this morning and follow the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic drives in the Rockies, with photo stops at Peyto Lake and Bow Lake. We continue to the Columbia Icefield, where we board the Ice Explorer for a glacier tour. In the afternoon, we arrive in Banff for an orientation tour of the town, taking in the Banff Springs Hotel and Bow Falls.
Day 6 - Discovering Banff
This morning, we ride the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for views across the surrounding peaks. The rest of the day is free - a good opportunity to explore the town at your own pace, whether that's browsing the shops, finding somewhere for lunch, or simply taking in the surroundings.
Day 7 - Banff to Calgary
Banff - Calgary. We depart Banff for Calgary. Along the way, we stop for lunch at Boundary Ranch before continuing into the city, where we visit the Calgary Stampede Sam Centre. With the rest of the afternoon free, take the chance to explore downtown Calgary or find a spot for dinner.
Day 8 - Departure from Calgary
After breakfast, check out of your hotel as the tour comes to an end. You will then make your way to the airport for your onward flight. Safe travels!
