Day 1 - Split - Trogir - Split
Arrive at Split Airport, where our local representative will welcome you and assist with your car hire, providing all necessary information for your departure day. You will then drive to your hotel for check-in before setting off to explore Trogir at your own pace. Wander through the royal palace and discover the historic remnants that earned the town its UNESCO World Heritage status. After visiting Diocletian’s Palace, take some time to soak up the relaxed atmosphere that locals enjoy. The city is lively, offering beautiful beaches and a variety of festivals, exhibitions and concerts in its squares. Alternatively, you may choose to join an optional private city tour of Split or Trogir, each lasting around two hours with an English-speaking guide (meals and entrance fees not included). Overnight accommodation will be in either Trogir or Split, depending on your hotel choice.
Day 2 - Trogir - Split - Zagreb
After breakfast, we depart for Zagreb. Upon arrival, you can explore the surrounding areas at your leisure. Options include visiting the charming historic town of Samobor, known for its traditional pastry called kremšnita, or exploring Hrvatsko Zagorje with its Veliki Tabor fortress and museum. Another possibility is a visit to Trakošćan Castle. Alternatively, you may choose to join an optional two-hour private city tour of Zagreb, led by an English-speaking guide (meals and entrance fees not included). Overnight in Zagreb.
Day 3 - Zagreb
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before taking a relaxed day to unwind in Zagreb. You might choose to stroll through the city’s charming squares, parks and admire its distinctive architecture at your own pace. Alternatively, you can join an optional two-hour private city tour with an English-speaking guide to gain deeper insight into Zagreb’s history and culture. Overnight stay in Zagreb.
Day 4 - Zagreb - Zamlaka
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting off towards Plitvice. This region is a favourite among nature enthusiasts, centred around the renowned National Park. The park features seven distinct routes through its lake system and four hiking trails, all open year-round. Please ensure you wear suitable clothing and footwear, and check the weather forecast ahead of your visit. Alternatively, you may choose to join a private guided tour of Plitvice lasting three to four hours, which includes an English-speaking guide but excludes meals and entrance fees. Day 5 - Biograd na Moru
After a hearty breakfast, we drive to Biograd na Moru, a charming town nestled along the Adriatic coast. Its location on a peninsula makes it an ideal base for exploring several nearby natural reserves and national parks, including Paklenica, Kornati, Telašćica Nature Park, and the Lake Vrana nature reserve. Day 6 - Biograd na Moru
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before spending the day at your own pace in Biograd Na Moru. Take the opportunity to explore the charming coastal town, relax by the sea, or visit nearby natural parks and reserves. Overnight in Biograd Na Moru.
Day 7 - Biograd na Moru - Mostar
After breakfast, we drive to Mostar in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Set on the Neretva River, Mostar impresses with its striking landscapes, distinctive architecture, and vibrant local culture. We take a stroll across the iconic Old Bridge, explore the narrow, winding streets, visit the bustling bazaar, the historic Turkish house, and a beautiful mosque, experiencing the unique blend of Mediterranean and continental influences. You may also choose to join an optional guided city tour lasting around two hours, which includes an English-speaking guide but excludes meals and entrance fees. Overnight in Mostar.
Day 8 - Dubrovnik
After breakfast, leave Mostar and drive to Dubrovnik, a remarkable medieval walled city renowned for its rich history and stunning architecture. We will explore some of the city’s most iconic sights, offering excellent opportunities for photography and a deep sense of its cultural heritage. Dubrovnik’s blend of architectural splendour and artistic legacy makes for a memorable experience that is sure to stand out on your journey. Day 9 - Dubrovnik
Enjoy a full day at your leisure in the captivating city of Dubrovnik. After breakfast, take the time to explore its historic streets, impressive city walls, and vibrant atmosphere at your own pace. Day 10 - Dubrovnik - Trogir - Split
After breakfast, we drive to either Split or Trogir, where you will have free time to explore these remarkable historic cities at your own pace. Both offer a wealth of imperial architecture and vibrant local life to discover. Overnight accommodation will be in Trogir or Split, depending on your hotel choice.
Day 11 - Trogir - Split
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on your final morning in Croatia. After checking out of your hotel, drive to Split Airport to return your rental car and prepare for your departure flight.
