Itinerary
Day 1 - Zagreb
Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, you have the remainder of the day free to relax and explore at your own pace. Overnight accommodation is in Zagreb.
Day 2 - Zagreb - Ljubljana
After breakfast, we begin with a morning sightseeing tour of Zagreb. You’ll explore the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historic heart, including St Mark’s Church with its distinctive multi-coloured roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre, and the University. In the afternoon, we travel to Ljubljana for a guided tour of Slovenia’s capital. Here, we visit the charming old town, taking in the lively Central open-air market, the iconic Three Bridges, the Baroque Town Hall, and Robba’s Fountain. Dinner and overnight accommodation are arranged in the Ljubljana area.
Day 3 - Zamlaka
After breakfast, we travel to Bled, a charming town nestled in the Julian Alps and renowned as one of Slovenia’s most beautiful alpine resorts. Surrounded by mountains and forests, Bled is centred around an emerald glacial lake, creating a striking natural setting. We visit Bled Castle, the oldest fortress in Slovenia, perched above the lake with panoramic views. Following our visit, we continue to the Plitvice Lakes area for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 4 - Split
This morning, we take a walk around Plitvice Lakes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its stunning natural beauty. You will see 16 crystal-clear lakes connected by 92 impressive waterfalls set amidst lush woodland. Afterwards, we travel to Split. This afternoon, our guide will reveal the history and hidden corners of Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO-protected Roman monument. Originally built as an imperial residence, the palace was adapted over the centuries and now forms the vibrant heart of the city. Overnight in Split.
Day 5 - Split - Dubrovnik
After breakfast, we depart for Dubrovnik. En route, we visit a wine cellar on the Pelješac Peninsula to sample Plavac Mali, the region’s renowned red wine. You then have free time for lunch and to explore the charming town of Ston. In the afternoon, we take a guided tour of Dubrovnik, known as the Pearl of the Adriatic and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the city’s rich maritime history as you admire its noble palaces, fountains and impressive city walls. Experience the blend of marble streets, baroque architecture and the sparkling Adriatic coastline. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
Day 6 - Dubrovnik
Today is yours to explore Dubrovnik at your own pace. Wander the ancient city walls, stroll through the Old Town’s charming streets, or relax by the Adriatic Sea. Alternatively, you may choose to join an optional excursion to Montenegro’s stunning Bay of Kotor, which can be arranged locally. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
Day 7 - Dubrovnik
Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel before spending some free time at your leisure. When the time comes, we will transfer you to Dubrovnik Airport for your onward journey.
