Itinerary
Day 1 - Paphos - Limassol
Upon arrival at Paphos or Larnaca Airport, you will be met in the Arrivals hall by a representative who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. Once settled in, you have the remainder of the day free to relax and explore at your own pace. Overnight accommodation is in Limassol.
Day 2 - Kourion
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out on a small group tour through the rolling hills and charming villages of Cyprus. Our first stop is Kourion, one of the island's most remarkable archaeological sites. Here, we explore the Roman baths and the impressive Greco-Roman theatre, which still hosts performances today. You'll also see the intricate mosaics in the houses of Eustolius, the Gladiators and Achilles, preserved as they were centuries ago. Next, we visit the 15th-century Kolossi Castle, a Crusader fortress surrounded by lush gardens. We then travel to the mountain village of Omodos, where you'll enjoy a local lunch in a family-run taverna and have free time to stroll through narrow cobbled streets lined with Byzantine buildings. The day concludes with a winery tour, where we learn about commandaria - one of the world's oldest sweet wines - before returning to the hotel in Limassol.
Day 3 - Limassol - Nicosia
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for a tour of Nicosia, the world's last divided capital. This city offers a unique glimpse into two contrasting cultures. We begin in the southern, Greek Cypriot part of the city, visiting St John's Cathedral, a fine example of Franco-Byzantine architecture. Next, we take a walking tour through Laiki Geitonia, a charming neighbourhood within the Venetian city walls, known for its narrow streets, historic churches and traditional buildings. Crossing the "Green Line" buffer zone, we explore the northern, Turkish Cypriot sector, learning about the city's complex history and culture as we visit key sites. The tour concludes back in the south at Ledra Street, where you can enjoy some free time to experience the vibrant modern city at your own pace. Please note that pick-up for this tour is from the Atlantica Bay Hotel in Limassol; you will need to make your own way there. Pick-up time will be confirmed with your booking. We return to Limassol for an overnight stay.
Day 4 - Limassol
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before spending the day at your own pace in Limassol. Whether you choose to relax by the pool, explore the local shops and cafes, or simply soak up the atmosphere, today is yours to unwind and discover as you wish. Overnight in Limassol.
Day 5 - Troodos - Limassol
Today we explore the forested Troodos Mountains on a 4x4 tour, taking in some of Cyprus' most rugged and scenic landscapes. We begin with a photo stop at the impressive Dipotamos Dam before visiting Lefkara, a tranquil mountain village famed for its delicate lace and silverwork. Next, we venture off the beaten track into Mesa Potamos Forest, where you can join an optional hike amid the pine trees. A meze-style lunch awaits at a village taverna, offering a taste of local flavours. Afterwards, we visit a striking forest waterfall, where cool water cascades down 20 metres. The day continues with a wine tasting before we arrive at Tochni village, where you can stroll through narrow streets and enjoy a traditional Cypriot coffee in a local kafeneion. This refreshing finale rounds off a day full of varied experiences. We return to Limassol for the night.
Day 6 - Paphos
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Paphos or Larnaca International Airport for your onward flight. We hope you leave Cyprus with lasting memories of your journey. Wishing you a safe and pleasant onward trip.
