Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to Prague! Upon your arrival at the airport, we will transfer you to your hotel. Be sure to check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details about the welcome meeting with your guide. This evening, we will take you to the vibrant Old Town Square, a bustling hub filled with tourists and locals alike. For dinner, feel free to choose from a wide array of restaurants offering Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian cuisines. Later, we'll provide a transfer back to the hotel. Please note, throughout this tour, travellers may join or leave the group at various points, which may affect group dynamics. However, the maximum group size will always be maintained. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Prague
Today, we explore Prague, the magnificent Baroque gem of Europe. Accompanied by our knowledgeable local guide, we'll embark on an engaging panoramic tour showcasing the city's most notable landmarks. Highlights include a visit to the historic Prague Castle, with entry included. Following this, we will enjoy a delightful boat ride along the Vltava River, offering unique views of the city's splendour. The afternoon is yours to discover Prague at your leisure, whether you'd like to uncover hidden gems, savour local culinary delights, or perhaps indulge in a spot of shopping.
Day 3 - Prague - Pilsen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
On the third day of our journey, we set off early from Prague and make our way to Pilsen, located in the western region of Bohemia. This city is famous for its beer, and you'll have some time to explore its historic centre. Here, you can see the Old Town Square, the cathedral, the striking Plague Column, and the Renaissance-era town hall. After our stop in Pilsen, we’ll head into Germany, travelling along part of the scenic Romantic Road. Our next destination is Rothenburg, a charming town that seems to be plucked straight from a fairy tale, often regarded as one of Germany's most beautiful villages. We’ll continue our journey to Frankfurt, Germany’s financial hub. Upon arrival in the evening, you’ll have some leisure time in the historic city centre, where you can choose from a wide array of dining options, including Indian, Asian, Italian, and other international cuisines.
Day 4 - Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam
Today, we will embark on an enchanting cruise along the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine River, travelling between the charming villages of Rüdesheim and St. Goar. Following this delightful journey, we will proceed to Cologne, famed for its awe-inspiring Gothic cathedral. After exploring the cultural treasures of Cologne, we will continue our travels into the Netherlands, arriving in Amsterdam by evening.
Day 5 - Amsterdam
Today we explore the quintessential beauty of Holland, a landscape that inspires dreams. We begin at Zaanse Schans, a charming destination renowned for its picturesque houses, serene canals, and iconic windmills. Next, we journey to the delightful fishing village of Volendam. From here, we board a short boat ride to Marken, a quaint spot that was once an island but is now connected to the mainland by a sturdy dike. The traditional stilted houses in this area speak to a rich history of adapting to flooding conditions.Our afternoon unfolds in Amsterdam with a captivating guided tour that highlights the city's rich heritage and vibrant culture. We’ll take in the emblematic windmill and the celebrated Rembrandt statue, as well as the modern flair of the South District. The experience continues at Museum Square, a centre of artistic heritage where the tradition of diamond cutting is showcased. Exiting our coach, we will wander into the heart of Amsterdam, concluding our formal tour. You're free to spend the remainder of the afternoon exploring Amsterdam’s famous canals, bustling markets, and cosy cafés, embracing everything this lively city has to offer.
Day 6 - Amsterdam - Hamelin - Berlin
Leaving Amsterdam, we set our sights on Germany. Our journey first takes us to the enchanting town of Hamelin, famously linked to the Brothers Grimm's tale of the Pied Piper. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore charming shop-lined streets steeped in folklore. Continuing, we drive through Marienborn, once a critical checkpoint between East and West Germany, offering a sobering glimpse into the nation's divided past. By evening, we’ll arrive in the vibrant city of Berlin.
Day 7 - Berlin
Experience the vibrant essence of Berlin, Germany's remarkable capital, on an insightful tour guided by a local expert. From the comfort of our coach, you'll witness the iconic Museum Island, the towering Television Tower, and the bustling shopping streets in the city centre. Observe the old cathedral, which bears witness to World War II's ravages, alongside the monumental Brandenburg Gate and the historic Reichstag. Our tour also offers the opportunity to pause at the Holocaust Memorial and Berlin Wall Memorial Museum, providing poignant reminders of the country's challenging past.The afternoon is yours to discover Berlin at your leisure. You will have time to wander among the city's remarkable palaces and enjoy a leisurely lunch. Following this, we proceed to the Czech Republic, reaching Prague by early afternoon. Although our shared adventure concludes here, we hope the memories you've made will endure long into the future.
