Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to Prague. Upon arrival at the airport, we will transfer you to your hotel. Please check the information boards in the hotel reception for details about the welcome meeting with your guide. In the evening, we will take you to the Old Town Square, a lively area popular with visitors. Here, you can choose from a wide range of restaurants serving international cuisine, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian dishes. After dinner, we will return you to your hotel.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Prague
Today, we explore Prague, often called the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local guide will take us on a panoramic tour of the city’s most notable landmarks, including a visit to Prague Castle, with admission included. Following this, we’ll enjoy a relaxing boat trip along the Vltava River. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to discover more of Prague at your own pace.
Day 3 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
We depart early this morning, crossing into Bavaria, Germany. We arrive in Munich around midday, where you’ll have free time to explore the historic city centre and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we continue our journey into Austria, arriving in Innsbruck, nestled in the heart of the Alps. You’ll have time to wander through Innsbruck’s Old Town and the area around the Golden Roof before dinner.
Day 4 - Innsbruck - Salzburg
We begin the day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum, where admission is included. Here, we’ll discover the art of crystal making and explore the striking gardens surrounding the museum. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to wander through the historic centre of Innsbruck at your leisure. We’ll then continue our journey along scenic mountain roads to Kitzbühel, a renowned Tyrolean town famous for its ski resort and the legendary Hahnenkamm alpine ski race. We’ll arrive in Salzburg by the evening to conclude the day.
Day 5 - Salzburg - Lake Traunsee - Vienna
Today we explore Austria’s rich heritage, beginning with a guided visit to Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart. You’ll see the city's striking Renaissance and Baroque architecture, set beneath the impressive fortress overlooking the old town. Afterwards, we journey through scenic lakes and mountains to St Wolfgang, a notable pilgrimage destination. Next, we arrive at Traunkirchen by Lake Traunsee, where we take a included cruise to admire four historic castles along the shore. The cruise concludes in Gmunden before we continue to Vienna, arriving in the evening.
Day 6 - Vienna
Today, we’ll take a panoramic tour of Vienna with a local guide, discovering its grand boulevards, elegant palaces, spacious parks and lively city centre. In the afternoon, you can explore the city at your leisure. Later, we’ll transfer you to Grinzing, a historic wine-growing district now part of Vienna, known for its charming traditional taverns. You’ll have free time to enjoy dinner there before returning to the hotel.
Day 7 - Vienna
After breakfast, our tour concludes, leaving you with fond memories of your time in Vienna and beyond.
